Chapter 1 revised pt. 1
Ravaging battle cries of warrior's orchestrated with the stampeding feet of horses shook the wasteland. They charged with their arms at the ready, targeting a demonic apparition. This was a time where civilization was lost and the world had been torn with hell itself. This time is not that which has been recorded, but what is yet to come, after the fall of our great nations. Though with the loss of civilization and the information error, there is always one great defining continuity for the human world: War. The air was darkened by weaponry. Spears, arrows, bullets, zoomed through the crimson sky, falling and hitting flying creature, with a vast wingspan. The way it fluttered about, doing it's best to avoid being struck made it appear as a large bat. A high toned squeal deafened the attackers, but it was not a demonic howl, as much as it was the shriek of a woman. In midst of the fading sun, the feminine curves had tolled, but not to defect any mercy. Wind was heard being blown by the powerful wings. Elevation for the bat monster was lost and she sputtered toward the ground. A great amount of damage had been dealt and blood rained out from her. "Argh!" A man shouted as the hot blood drizzled upon them "Avoid contact- vile blood!" The men hid behind rotting trees, some even pitiful to hop off their horse and hide beneath them for shelter. It was a popular belief that blood sprayed from an under worldly being would corrupt their souls. The wisps of the arrow strings, were drowned out by the bangs of heavier artillery. These warriors belonged to a city bent on religious domination and were aimed at wiping out every single creature that has crawled out of or have been bred from hell. The current target was the direct offspring of Satan. While he led his army against the humans, the freed tyrant of hell chased after woman and girls, forcing them to bare his evil seed, and at the same time tormenting their lovers. This one particular creature was a daughter of Satan. She had been seen frightening human children by the holy city of Tendo and now her reign of terror would end. Her wings had copious amounts of puncture wounds. The membranes didn't bleed, but they blew wind right through and the tearing grew wider each time she tried to gain wind. Now she was flying in rapid, uncontrollable torrents. Leading the group of warriors was a great slayer, his name was Anorak. Anorak was tall having semi-long black hair that came into a small pony tail, his iris's were polluted with a purple tint and he sported a holy warrior outfit, bearing a gold plated bible cover over his left breast keeping his physical heart safe. Underneath his neck there was a metal plate covering an awful scar, which he received when he was young from an evil hellish creature. He carried three weapons, a sword and pistol on his belt and in his arms he hunted the demon girl with a bow, launching many arrows at a quick pace. With a smirk of pride he ordered his team to begin tying ropes to the arrows. "We're capturing this one!" This was an unsual request, but by now the battle was definitive and a capture would be quick work. "Ready the bounds, we will knock the witch from the sky!" Five other men began to set up several spools of rope, tying them to trees, so they could rope the beast down. The others kept firing arrows, looping them around the demon. "You know the father will disapprove, you're already on his list of sinners" A slender pale faced man spoke trying to reel the demon in. The ropes were hard to pull in because she kept quickening her rampant pace. "This is for betterment of our existence!" Anorak spoke commandingly with a patronizing retort. He took aim and shot a heavy arrow right through the girl's shoulder, pulling her to the ground. Once in view the creatures struggling body had many human qualities. The face of a woman, though eyes with reptile like pupils they shown human emotion and right now they were filled with ferocity and fear, just like a warrior would have. It took most of the hunters to pin her. Three for each arm, which they pulled on, and three for each leg. Her hand had three digits and a large spike protruding the wrist, it kept extending as her sharp claws made the overbearing armor into shreds. Her thick and muscular legs kicked and pushed it's toes into the guts of the soldiers, clawing through the armor. She had three toes, two on the front of the foot and one on her heel. One man also had to grab her tail which proved to be an effective weapon, with it's snapping razors on the tip. The strangest part of this demon hybrid was she adorned garments, a large shielded chest plate covered a voluptuous bosom, which heaved as she mouth billowed steams of panting breathes. The armor also had plated slits in the back for her wings to fit through, even her lower body had coverings in specifically designed garments, keeping her rear and any shameful bits concealed. One soldier attempted to behead the creature, swinging his sword to it's face, but the woman ducked her head, and her demonic horns caught the rapier between their edges. She then forcefully jolted her head to the side, breaking the man's wrist. She shook her head many times swinging the trapped sword at the hunters until it shook free. This intrigued Anorak, he watched as his men worked on the hardest part to pin the wings, because of their mass they easily collected wind, helping the woman flail about. Anorak unsheathed his sword, ordering his men to turn the creature around. With a great deal of trouble they managed to comply. Anorak lifted his sword, but before he brought it down the creature turned her neck, which had a large collar covering it. Her fearful gaze pierced Anorak and for a moment he felt like the monster. He was the villain in the witches eye, over powering her and now he intend to chop her limbs. Anorak would not stop himself he slew his mighty blade forth severing the creatures right wing. Horrifying screams burst from her, first inaudible, then she formed words, "I'll kill you, I'll kill all of you!" Anorak shook his head and silenced the screams by clipping her next wing. Blood gushed out of the now stubbed limbs, all over the creatures back, some even bursting upon the hunters who made great attempt to shield themselves. Afterwards she passed out from the loss...
Hell’s Fury Chapter I Lucifer’s Legacy
Spears, arrows and bullets, all projectile weapons throughout man’s history. Now they zoomed through the crimson sky to a target that was not man. A flying creature, with large dark wings, that made it appear as if it was a large bat. A high toned squeal originated from the beast, but it was not monstrous it was that of a woman. Several of the weapons made contact to the creature and her elevation dropped, but her wings flapped rapidly keeping her away from the hunters below. “Argh!” A man shouted as the hot blood rained upon them “Avoid contact with the vile blood!” The men hid behind rotting trees, as they believed that the blood would corrupt their hearts. The wisps of the arrow strings, were demeaned by the bangs of the rifles. These hunters belonged to a city bent on religious domination and were aimed at wiping out every single creature that has crawled or been bred from hell.
Their current target was the direct offspring of Satan. Lucifer while he led his army chased after human woman and girls, forcing them to bare his evil seed, while at the same time tormenting their human lovers. This one particular creature was a daughter of Satan. She had been seen frightening human children by the holy city of Tendo and now her reign of terror would end. The creatures wings had many puncture wounds, now it was flying in rapid torrents.
Leading the pack of hunters was the greatest slayer, his name was AnRak. AnRak was tall having semi-long black hair that came into a small pony tail, his iris’s were polluted with purple tint and he sported a holy warrior outfit, bearing a gold plated bible cover over his left breast keeping his physical heart safe. “We’re capturing this one!”
“Why sir?” one hunter asked with astound.
“To learn how to kill them more effectively” AnRak’s deep voice answered as he tied his arrow up with rope “ready a cage, we will knock the witch from the sky!”
Five other men begin to build a cage while the others kept firing arrows, looping them around the demon. “You know the father will disapprove, you’re already on his list of sinners” the hunter spoke trying to reel the demon in, his rope hard to pull on because she kept quickening her rampant pace.
“This is for betterment of our existence!” AnRak shot an arrow right through the girl’s shoulder, pulling her to the ground. Once in view the creatures body had many human qualities, a face of a woman, though eyes with reptile like pupils they shown human emotion and right now they were filled with ferocity and fear, just like a warrior would have. It took most of the hunters to pin her. Three for each arm, which they pulled on, and three for each leg. Her hand had three digits and a large spike protruding the wrist, it kept extending as her hands sharp claws made the surrounding humans armor into shreds. Her thick and muscular legs kicked and pushed it’s toes into the guts of the soldiers, clawing through the armor. She had three toes, two on the front of the foot and one on her heel. One man also had to grab her tail which proved to be an effective weapon, with it’s snapping razors on the tip. The strangest part of this demon hybrid was she adorned garments, a shielded chest plate covered the large and voluptuous bosom, which heaved as she panted heavily. The armor also had plated slits in the back for her wings to fit through, even her lower regions were covered in specifically designed garments, keeping her rear and womanhood veiled.
One soldier attempted to behead the creature, swinging his sword to it’s face, but the woman ducked her head, and her demonic horns caught the rapier between their edges. She then forcefully jolted her head to the side, breaking the man’s wrist. She shook her head many times swinging the trapped sword at the hunters until it just shook free.
This intrigued AnRak, he watched as his men worked on the hardest part to pin the wings, because of the mass, they easily collected wind, helping the woman flail about. AnRak unsheathed his long and mighty sword, ordering his men to turn the creature around. With a great deal of trouble they managed to comply. AnRak lifted his sword, but before he brought it down the creature turned it’s neck, which had a large collar covering it. Her fearful gaze faced AnRak and he for a moment felt like the monster. He was the villain in the witches eye, over powering her and now he intend to chop her limbs. AnRak could not stop himself he slew his mighty blade forth severing the creatures right wing.
Then horrifying screams wept from her mouth, first inaudible, then she formed words, words of pain and vengeance “I’ll kill you, I’ll kill all of you!” AnRak shook his head and silenced the screams by clipping her next wing. Blood gushed out of the now stubbed limbs, all over the creatures back, some even bursting upon the hunters who made great attempt to shield themselves. Afterwards she passed out from the loss of blood and the pain they caused her.
Broken, unconscious and caged the creature was brought to the city of Tendo. The holy leader James the VIII was furious that AnRak would be so foolish enough to bring the battered demon. Though he did examine the creature in the temple and declared that he and his guards would keep it imprisoned within the temple.
“Why?” AnRak cared not for this idea “we must learn how to kill them immediately, if we had done this years ago, then the war would’ve…”
James held up his hand “silence!” He and his guard walked up the cage now hanging like that of a birds. He was a bald old man, dressed in a white robe with gold trim. His temple too was made of sheer gold, though he was a religious leader he often acted as a politician and military leader, even as it was no where in his jurisdiction “This thing is an abomination“ he began to prod the sleeping demon through the bars of it‘s cage with his cane. “See how it wears attire, it wishes to be human” James spoke.
“Perhaps it might even share human ideals” AnRak, who never cared for James’s obnoxious tone commented, knowing it would put steam in his blood.
James frowned swinging his cane at AnRak “insolent whelp!” AnRak merely caught the cane and chuckled. Then James continued his lecture “this hellian is not like the others you have hunted and killed… A human designed it’s garments… Such fashionable armor we have a traitor in our midst!”
Patronized all AnRak could do was nod as James went on with his evangelical beliefs “god created humans as the master race, only we have such skill and mastery of thought and heart. The Hellians wish to replace us in God‘s righteous eyes!” Then he spoke kindly in an belittling manner “fear not though my child, I will take it upon myself to learn of this creatures devilish intentions.”
Of course these words made AnRak feel uneasy, but he was not about to deny the ruler any further. James’s eyes seemed more demonic than what he remembered the creatures. He opened the door to leave, recalling the fear and tenacity in her eyes. “James” he spoke “look into it’s eyes, I would like to know what you see.” He closed the door behind him. Leaving James with his smirk.
“It’s eyes huh?”
A cold night fell upon Tendo. The lavished city became dark with the crimson sky and blazing sun gone. The holy temple overshadowed the city, it was the largest building, and from it’s balcony stood James, watching the lights of the city disappear. Overhead on the roof of the temple AnRak kept a keen eye, making sure the city remained calm and safe, as it’s protector. Within the dark private quarters of James‘s temple, the glowing red eyes of the creature were lit. She placed her hands on the cage groaning. She was in a great deal of pain, but the bleeding had stopped. “Dammit…” she was disgusted that she lived to be trapped instead of being killed. Then several of the over head lights shined down upon her blood covered body. Following the light was James, he slowly hobbled in holding his cane, a large guard walked behind him, he was Ren, leader of James’s personal guards.
With fiendish gall James walked right up to the cage. He saw that she was staring at him and with a kind tone he chuckled “it’s rather impolite to stare.”
She was sitting, her legs arched while her toes touched the other edge of the cages bars, her tail draped over outside the base of the cage and just as he spoke to her, she spit through the bars, hitting the holy man in the face. After this action the guard prodding her neck below her hex inscribed collar with a long stick, then clipped a trigger, several jolts of electricity was sent through her body, this caused her great pain, but she bit her lip with her fangs.
“Impudent wretch!” James wiped himself off with a golden handkerchief. He then began to speak with her “you see lass, technology, it has been Hell’s bane since it spewed out onto our world, it made us humans superior to you worthless creatures.”
“Humans are weak because of your machines” her voice hissed, the guard was about to use the cattle prod on her again, but James’s wavered him off with his hand.
Preaching god’s will, James explained a few things about mankind to her “god gave us these machines to defend us from you Hellians-” He was interrupted by the girl as she told him the only thing god would give him was death. Once again the guard zapped her under her neck. Her fangs became more apparent as she growled in pain from the electrocution, her silver and black hair veiling her eyes.
“No more words from you spawn of Satan!” James commanded as he walked slowly around the cage examining her form. When he viewed her back side he saw that the garment she was wearing had slits in the back, specially designed for her wings to move about freely. “Who designed your clothes” he needed to know, so that he could immediately purge that human from existence. “What human would dare aid a demon?” He placed a hand on his cheek in judgment “such effective armor, was it the Redjedef empire, is that where you came from?” James knew that there were people out in the world that used and exploited the horrendous usefulness of the Hellians.
With a stubborn silence the girl said nothing, so once again she felt the sting of the cattle prod. “Answer the father’s questions!” Ren’s deep voice blared at her. He pulled away awaiting her reply, but she was merely breathing heavily so he went to shock her again, but this time the tip of the girls tail split apart and clamped onto the electrode. Instinctively the guard just shocked her, but her tail and numb spine absorbed the pain, but electricity surged throughout her entire body. She lifted her arms revealing two massive blades protruding her elbows and sliced the bars of the cage apart.
James, like a coward, attempted to flee. But in one swift motion the heel of the demons foot connected to Ren’s face piercing his lip, and the three digits of her hand clasped onto James’s face. The electricity of the cattle prod flowed through her and as soon as she touched James he felt the paralyzing shock. He fell over unable to consciously move, his body twitching. Panting heavily, the girl lifted her tail to her face and ripped the activating cattle prod out of it’s grip. Then she broke it in half, and ran out of the room onto the balcony. With the wind blowing through her black and silver hair she studied the 100 foot drop.
From within more guards were murmuring seeing James and Ren on the floor. In haste she had to jump. As she fell from the far distance she attempted to dig her wrists hot spurs into the stone wall, but without the force of her wings to help, her spikes merely touched the cement and pushed her away. She fell landing on her back, crushing a great deal of the pavement around her battered body.
Surprised citizens wakened from the crash, gathered to the place where she had fallen. They were in disbelief to see that she was still moving.
“Are you all right?”
“She fell you moron!”
“A tail me lord!”
“Demon!!”
“It’s the one we apprehended today!” One of the hunters from the pack called to them, warning them away. The man came charging with a rifle, it’s sharp bayonet pointed forward as he took aim.
The demon girl stumbled to her feet, her tail swaying loosely as she wobbled, jarred by the fall. Her hands took another battle stance, making the hot spurs of her wrists slightly extend, she could stab her palm if she wanted to. The hunter shot his rifle, the sound echoing in the girl’s elongated ears. The sound told her where the blast was directed, she rolled out of the way, quickly recovering her footing only to get another blast into her shoulder.
From the roof top of the holy temple of James, AnRak watched the scuffle, immediately he raced to a lower platform where he could watch closely. At closer distance he was even more so impressed by the demon’s combat skills. Desiring to fight her one on one, he took out his pistol and grabbed onto a clothes line, detaching it, swinging toward yet another clothes line below, detaching it, clothes flying off as he took each line. The falling clothes rained upon the shooting hunters covering them garments so they could no longer take shot.
Behind the demon, AnRak hovered clinging to a clothes line. The sound of his feet touching the ground as he let go, alerted her of his presence. Though she was still in awe watching the clothes fall, her tail took the initiative and struck AnRak instinctively. He deflected the clasping tail with his sword.
“Remember me?” He smirked cockily, as she turned to face him, her tail retreating.
She hissed, cracking her four fingers, and flexing her thumbs “you took me wings!” Her voice was filled with hatred.
“Now I’ll take the rest” he boldly exclaimed lunging his sword to her.
The sword was caught in the midst of the girls hot spurs. They glared at each other crimson to violet eyes though it was night the two combatants saw perfectly.
More solder poured out of the temple surrounding the two fighters aiming their weapons but waiting for the order to shoot or for the demon to make a hostile move.
“I’ll kill you!” The demon slashed upward with her elbow blades, slicing through the armor on AnRak’s left arm cutting him deeply, then rolling as the solders fired as to avoid most of the shots. She was however hit in the shoulder and calf.
Falling to one knee AnRak gripped his wound tightly to stop the flow of blood. “ Stop!” he commanded “ This is my fight!” Though he was injured they heeded his command. He got to his feet with a grimacing smirk, his arm hanging loosely by his side.
The equally wounded demon grinned at him. “You really are an idiot.” She reached over and pushed him over with her finger and took off sprinting away despite her injuries.
“ Get her!” One of the solders shouted. And they ran after her. The man who yelled stayed behind to help AnRak “ Don’t worry sir we’ll get her.”
“ No you won’t. She’s already out-” He gasped, closing his eyes.
The usual sky was no longer a violent crimson but a peaceful blue. The sun was shining over a grassy field. Lush greenery grew through out the area. AnRak stood admiring the beauteous scene. He wore only black pants, his rock hard muscles accentuated by the warm rays of the sun. He bore no marks of his recent battle nor scars of any other.
By a nearby apple tree he saw a girl standing with her back to him. She wore a long, white, sleeveless dress blowing lightly in the wind. She had black hair that came down to her shoulders.
As he watched the girl the horizon became a burning scarlet. The glow seemed to be getting closer and AnRak realized that it actually was burning, the fields were on fire. He shouted to warn the girl but no words came out of his mouth. He ran to her and grabbed her hand. She turned and her appearance transformed. Her bangs turned silver, her skin grew pale, wings sprouted from her back and hung loosely behind her where a tail also resided. Lastly he noticed her eyes. The crimson orbs were filled with sorrow. It was the demon girl. But before he could release her hand the ground around them broke apart reviling the fiery pits of Hell. AnRak Managed to grab hold of the edge of the pit before falling to his deathstill holding the demons hand. He looked down at her. She wasn’t attempting to save herself. Just hang there not even holding onto his hand in return. She looks back at him pleading in her eyes.
Kill me. The words seemed to echo in his mind. Though the hiss was gone and, her mouth never moved he knew they were her words.
Kill me. It echoed though his mind again. The flames below them reach toward them. Kill me. Sympathy flowed through him and he tried to lift her to safety but she was too heavy.
Kill me. The words echo once again before the flames reach her scorching her flesh.
AnRak’s eyelids popped up and he bolted upright, his arm encased in a cast. He was in a brightly lit white room. His arm had been sewn up, and the advancements of medical technology saved the nearly destroyed limb. He had spent days in recovery, his feelings and nerve endings were nearly back to normal. He had many visitors: friends, soldiers, but there was one meeting that was not welcomed.
“God has blessed you” James walked in followed by a facially wounded Ren. “You once battled the great devil himself in your childhood… That encounter you surely should have been slain.” He chuckled pointing to the deep scar underneath AnRak’s neck, which was usually covered by his metallic collar.
He cursed James, sitting up a bit more “Spare me… Your pitiful security allowed that demon girl’s escape and now she’s at large again!” His voice was so thunderous the whole hospital overheard.
Defensively James placed his hands up “Now, now, fear not for I sent your hunters after her, this time- ”
AnRak interrupted, tearing himself from the hospital bed “You sent them all to their deaths!” He took his weaponry which had been cleaned and repaired, his quiver restocked with arrows.
Ren pushed AnRak back into the bed, James began to denounce his actions “Leave this room and We will say you will have committed treason.” He smirked his dry lips. “For I shall take it upon myself to tell of your intentions of aiding the demon.” His deep web of conspiracies would keep AnRak immobile. For a moment AnRak’s eyes shown to be at bay, but he had grown impatient, because James would often use the word of God to deny the warrior’s instinct.
“You’re lucky god put me on this planet to save misguided souls like you” with that button pushed, AnRak bashed the guard over the head with his gold bible shield plating from his armor, position his bow to the back of the guard’s knees to trip him. At this James’s began shouting “Treason! He wishes to aid the demon!”
The warrior grabbed his attire and his accessories opening the window. “Perhaps the demon, is more humane than you.” He leapt from the window ready to use his bow to latch onto clothes lines, but it turned out he was on the first floor, so with an immediate thud he landed on his face.
From within the holy man’s cursing was still blaring. Like the demon before him AnRak jumped up and ran as fast as he could, receiving greetings and salutations as he passed, for nobody was aware of his sins though he had none. For a moment he stopped to suit up minus the bible chest plate, instead he wore a black sleeveless shirt made of thick rubber and armored plating.
At the massive golden gates of Tendo he met the guard in the high tower from below. He requested the massive doors be opened, with the request granted AnRak at last left the city of Tendo, to find the demon, before the hunters did.
A few days past as AnRak traveled, he was getting no where. Though he eventually saw a veil of smoke coming from the eastward direction. He stealthily headed to that area, to find it was too late. All of his comrades had been slain. Every single hunter that he trained was vicious beaten to death and oddly enough there were three pronged marks on many of them, surrounded with burnt black flesh. He realized no demon did this. These marks were left by human made weapons, perhaps those even used by the guards at Tendo.
That night AnRak prayed to his fallen comrades, though he wasn’t a devote Christian he still had hoped that their souls would be at peace. He gave them all proper burial and left stacked rocks for tomb stones, before heading on his journey. He knew that James was after his blood now, but he intended to survive.
He kept traveling through the woods, until he came upon a small lake. He saw what he had been seeking. The hellish girl was sitting at the water’s edge, her hair was wet and she was finger combing it. He stepped out of the bushes “I’ve found you.”
Crimson and violet eyes locked, both man and monster stared at one another, frozen in the high beams of each other’s eyes. AnRak stood at the mouth of the forest, while she got to her feet. AnRak took the hilt of his sword, slightly lifting it from it’s sheath “Looks like your wings have grown quite nicely” he spoke in a smug tone.
The demon girl’s fangs bared over her bottom lip “As did your arm” she cracked her knuckles in the palm of each opposing hand, readying for their rematch. Taking the initiative she jumped her newly grown wings pushed her forward, as her claws were raised for combat. Immediately AnRak crossed his sword in his bow, making an ’x’ warding off her advanced., pushing her back. Her feet touched the water’s edge, she returned to her fighting stance, for a moment until she slipped on the mossy rocks. With a tremendous splash she fell into the water.
When her head emerged she found an arrow tip touched her nose. Thinking the creature was at bay, AnRak demanded to know the creature’s origin. “Like I’d tell a damn dirty human” she scowled.
He shook his head releasing the arrow, but it only moved a quarter of a centimeter, before it’s shaft was caught by her quick hand, which snapped the twig in half. In no time AnRak reached for another arrow as she rose from the water. Another arrow was fired, but it was caught in her right hand “pitiful human!” Another arrow was fired, but it was caught in her left hand, then another, it was caught in the trap of her tail.
“Got anymore?” she was now toying with him, bunching the arrows together and snapping them.
“Plenty” he thought of his sword, but still felt the pain of the last battle. He wondered why he was still alive, with her skill she could have already killed him. “It’s interesting more to know why you’re holding back?” he was now tempting death, was such an answer so important?
She turned away chuckling, but the hissed sound of her voice deluded the joy “You’re just too pathetic to kill.” Her voice sounded with female dissatisfaction.
“Really?” The words insulted his pride, forcing him to pull an arrow out of his quiver, but before he could aim it, a strong gust of wind from the demon’s wings knocked him onto the ground.
She turned her crimson eyes to him, covering her mouth with her three fingers snickering. “You really are stupid, do you wish to die so badly? “ AnRak cursed her as he stood up revealing his sword. “This again?” amused she crossed her arms over her chest, revealing the blade like bones, which he was so familiar with.
He refused to let her get to him more “you’ve lived with humans haven’t you?” He asked slyly.
“That’s none of your damned business!” she shouted lifting her arms over her head, slashing her blades into his. AnRak caught her blades, but was moving with great caution not to befall his previous mistake. He moved faster than her to compensate against the overpowering force. As fast as he was, her strength proved greater. Every swipe backing him away. He moved behind several trees, and she cut them down with ease. The battle was going terribly for AnRak, until he found a moment of rest, hiding behind a tree, climbing it.
“A cowardly, idiot? Come on out” she challenged, her teeth clenching viciously.
For his moment of peace AnRak knew he had to catch her two blades somehow. He felt the plating on his chest, testing for durability. “It’s all I got…” he sighed, he jumped down behind her, slashing at his wings, but she predictably turned deflecting his sword with elbow blades. At this moment AnRak tackled her, clenching her elongated blades to the plates of his chest. They were tearing through like a knife through cardboard. Her arms however were trapped over her head, she was locked into the submissive embrace.
His nose to hers, AnRak smirked, his blade trailing to the back of his neck “gotchya” he gloated. She just laughed as she hit him on the head and he collapsed onto the ground.
“Forget my tail stupid?” she smirked swaying the ligament over her curved rear.
“Dammit…” AnRak attempted to lift his hand, but her foot pinned it down. The hot spur of left wrist extended as she moved to pierce his right arm. A loud bang sounded, the girl moved back gripping her collar bone, which gushed blood. Two more blasts, punctured her wings.
Suddenly several soldiers appeared, lead by the facially wounded Ren. They were equipped with more cattle prods and moved to zap the female. As soon as AnRak sat up he was electrocuted. “The father will be pleased” the mighty guard grinned.
In the highest caliber of security chambers, AnRak awoke. He was stripped of his armor and weapons. His cell was composed of metallic walls, and glowing red bars, where no creature of flesh or bones could stand to touch. In the cell across the demon girl stirred.
“Hey?” he bothered asking a greeting.
“What?” Her voice was uninviting as ever.
He smiled through the red hot bars “How’s your shoulder?” He asked.
“Don’t act so caring human!” she growled, perching on her rock of a bed. “We’re both hated, we have that in common.” she was flexing her wrist debating escape.
He sighed knowing she intended no kindness “Can you at least tell me your name?” he was more concerned for this creature than their predicament.
“Go die!” She shouted ripping off a corner of her bed, throwing it at him, but it was incinerated by the bars, so that only a few sparks could reach his cell.
After a moment of silence James the 8th the greatest hero of all of Tendo, followed by his face scarred guard Ren, came in accompanied by several other soldiers “ah the conspiracy” he cackled. “You betrayed and killed your own hunter comrades” he directed his words at AnRak.
Furious AnRak shouted “your men killed them you b*****d!” He almost latched onto the bars, but his mind kept him from making that dire mistake.
“Well the whole of Tendo knows you as the traitor.” He smirked weaving a basket of treachery against AnRak he continued “and in God’s eye-”
“You’re the one going to Hell!” AnRak growled.
Though James has preached his whole life of sinners falling into hell, the truth came out “my boy, there is no hell, not anymore. Where do you think these demons came from?” he held his hand out presently toward the other prisoner. “Hell hasn’t existed for decades.”
The demon laughed at him “You don’t know s**t about Hell, when I’m out, I’ll elaborate true hell!”
James frowned “You will not be getting out” his wrinkly grinned evilly showing such vexatiousness “There you will remain until you are starved. We wouldn’t want another security breach would we?” He batted an eye at the scarred Ren. “You on the other hand are being executed this evening.”
“What about my trial?” AnRak glared.
Ren smirked “Working along side a Hellian is death my friend” his voice barely audible, from the giant hole in his face.
“You killed them, didn’t you?” AnRak remained fierce.
Ren continued to torment “They were pathetic hunters.” James told Ren not to gloat so much in order to keep up appearances.
“See you at execution, godless curs” and they took their leave. AnRak felt the shadow of death hanging over him, as his last moments were to be spent with a devilish creature.
Back at the lake, where the dispute happened between AnRak and the demon, a band of five similar looking demons in what looked like black cloaks stood. The leader of the group stood, he bared three horns, two similar to Tendo’s demon and a third out of his forehead. He knelt down smelling the ground in disgust. “Female… One of us” he sighed. “Pity, looks like humans killed her” his voice was casual.
A taller female demon, with two short horns above her ears spoke. “So, now what, find another?” She asked the leader.
“Nah, let’s wage war against that sickening holy city” he stood grinning “nobody kills our kin and lives, right?” They all held their arms in the air, shouting with pride.
“Hail Satan’s children!”
