The castle was foreboding. Larger than most cities, it floated above the clouds, a testament to the owner's Ego and Powers. To tell the truth, Sarsiel didnt know what his a** was doing out of the First ring of heaven, but when someone of that Woman's power called, you came. Immediately. Sarsiel wasnt a even moderately powerful angel, just a minor elemental of Fire. His skin resembled molten lava, and his wings were stained black with the heat of his body. He stood average for an angel, roughly 5' 11, and thought himself at least as good looking as the next angel. Not that he was supposed to care, but.... The gates he stood before were enormous. Towering above him were the gate guards, four of them, no eight. They seemed to exist in pairs, one large, bipedal and four armed, the larger resting where the shoulders would, and seemed to posses a longrange weapon of some sort, with smaller, powerful looking arms near the chest. The second type of creature was much smaller, no larger than a child, with serrated blades in place of arms and legs. The creatures gave the angel pause, and a healthy dose of fear. He was escorted through the main gate, up a flight of stairs, which were lined with statues of angels in various forms of agony on one side, and demons in similar poses on the other, and to a normal looking door. "Watcher, where is the Nigari's champion?! I must know!" a female voice cried out, angrily. "I will not reveal to you another thing, I only am what I am because you and the others tricked me! Get thee Hence, Punished. You find no friend in the Watcher." shot back a male voice. "You only say that because you fear 'him'!" "With good reason, Fool! Have you forgotten that he is who punished Us? I escaped due to innocence, but even I am punished in ways other than the physical!" "He sleeps, he is gone! There is nothing to fear!" "I WILL NOT BE SWAYED!" the voice boomed, shaking the castle. Sarsiel was quaking where he stood. In the next room were two creatures he never, ever wanted to meet. Momma angels told the newer ones that they were what happened to angels who 'went too far', and then didnt even get into Hell. But... who was the man they were talking about? "The Ryders will come, Watcher. They will destroy this world, like so many others." "Of course they will come, that is their duty. The Yettai Nigari acts as a barrier, and you interfere with him. Just like you did with the predecessor, and where is he? That's right, I forget, you let him know exactly who he was. YOU reminded him who his enemies are. You and the other suicidal idiots I once called family." "He would've found out eventually..." "Oh really? The entire reason those six came into being was to make him sleep FOREVER. Now we have the Yettai, a Seventh of Six, and you still are trying to ******** things up Uriel. Leave the Nigaris alone, Yettai and Secouni. Tell the others to let the other creatures be. All you will do is bring forth your own end. Again." A surge of power indicated that one of the beings had left. Sarsiel was relatively certain that he'd just hear something that he wasnt supposed to. Something that could get him killed. Uriel was behind that door, a Punished, and not the woman he'd come to see. He could leave- the Punished could not follow or kill angels of a lesser rank- but who would know what to do with this? They had mentioned riders.... perhaps the Horsemen? The Reapers? Who knew what they were up to? He dissipated into flame, definitely not sticking around to become chow for Uriel's guards. He knew that at least one person had the answers to this. It was time to see Gabriel.
