Dark clouds looming over head,
this feeling of discarded memories
are playing a sorrowful tune...as the notes fall
to the ground below
The wind blows a painful reminder
of how I let you defeat me
Heartwrenching screams echo in the silence
on my decaying...mind
Faded into the madness of everything
The thunder will drown out your voice in my head
Telling me,I wasn't good enough to play the part
of a love that gone wrong
And I say nothing to defend myself from your harsh
constant use of my emotional strings
As the streets flood from the storm of yesterday
The mistrust is no longer be a part of me,
like a flash of lightening...it's gone
And all is calm again..
Until the next storm brews in my eyes again
