Why would I name her Jasmine? |

I'm actually bored... which is weird, because I had a vision last night before I fell asleep that mystified me up until I knocked out.
A few hours ago I tried to recreate the girl I saw in that vision. This wasn't something that would happen in the future necessarily... it was just a 'vision'.
It was of a girl with a lean body, her skin a pale blue, her lips chartreuse, and her hair a pale pink.
She was wearing a jacket only I would find stylish on top of a form fitting, midriff bearing tank top. She wore jeans cuffed at different places: on her left it was cuffed above the knee; on the right, it was cuffed above the ankle... and she had a gun strapped to her leg in a holster. She had short, neck length hair...
Personality wise, in that vision she struck me as being keenly aware of her surroundings, darkly intelligent, with a sharp wit and snarky attitude, although she did have a sense of compassion for those she protected. She is extremely confident at all times, and relaxes easily when out of immediate danger
Physically, she was very athletic, with a slim, toned body. I had the impression that she was extremely agile as well as strong enough to handle anything that came her way should she need to rely on brute strength over her daunting speed.
Did I forget to mention that she was a zombie in the midst of the zombie apocalypse, but she retained her humanity? >_>
I imagine she lives off of the brains of animals, and bears with her companions complaints about her eating habits.
"It's better than eating YOUR tiny little brain!" she would say to one male in particular.
She's for all intents and purposes a zombie... but instead of losing her mind to the virus, she actually held on to her sanity and her humanity.
Because she cannot be infected a second time, she goes out fighting against other zombies alongside a few completely living people in order to help keep the remaining humans alive. She's dead, but she's still alive. XD
I tried to recreate her from what little I can remember of the brief vision. Since I didn't try to draw her straight away, all I accurately remembered was what her face looked like. The rest I had to guess. I remembered she was slim and there was something uneven about the way she dressed... and I remembered her attitude and what she did (fight zombies) in addition to what she was. (a zombie that retained her awareness. She's a rare case and has to tell the people she's helping that she's not going to hurt them. XD She's usually attacked before she can warn them about her special circumstance.)
As I looked at the completed drawing of her, I thought "What should her name be? I got just about everything, but I didn't get a name..."
So I had to come up with that one on my own will power. After looking at her wholly for less than a minute, I thought, "Jasmine."
She looks as soft as a Jasmine, but her personality is completely different from a "Jasmine."
It would be perfect for her in that regard. She could hate her name, but it would be a pretty one that fit her aesthetically at the very least. (if you ignored the way she dressed, anyway. )
To be fair, "Jas" or "Jazz" for short sounds like a super awesome nickname fitting her style and personality. >w<
