Well guys, welcome to the third episode! I am Countess Ayala1 (no sh*t) And I am continuing my review of A Cheeky Angel. A Cheeky Angel has been amusing and wierd so far. I think it's a romantic high school comedy. We have Megumi who was once a boy and his best friend, Miki, who are the only ones that know of Meguim's curse.
Then there's the Megumi fan club who just want to be her boyfriends. They add a lot of comedy to the series but nearly as much as Souga. Souga is the tough guy at the school and although he gets his butt handed to him by Megumi, he falls for her anyway. The two have a strange relationship. Lol.
Anyways this episode starts out with the Megumi Fan Club having their first meeting when Souga asks to join. The Fan Club is dubbed "The Society to drag down Gen". Gen is another name for Souga apparently.
Anyways a member of Megumi's fan club gives her a love note but Megumi angrily throws it away in private. Megumi wants to be a guy but again, Miki replies that that would never happen. We then have a somewhat touching scene where Megumi and Miki nearly kiss. Or so it seems. Enter Souga who has a major crush on Megumi and is acting like a total idiot. The rest of the fan club are watching from some bushes.
As Megumi are walking, the Fan Club tries to do everything in their power to get close to her, but they end up pissing her off. She wants guys to act more manly. Lol.Megumi suddenly forgets the reason why she was changed into a girl when a boy takes a picture of her, but Souga steals his camera and proceeds to take a picture of him and Souga. But Megumi brushes him off.
Ha. But Souga is not about to give up so easily. He boldly declares that he loves her. Stunned, Megumi is confused and she refuses a marriage proposal by Souga. She's confused.
Haha and Souga is left happy.
Reflecting on it, Miki compliments Megumi and she gets chased around. Lol. With an embarrassed Megumi, Miki replies that she (Megumi) would have been the same way if she were a boy. Megumi then states that she hates Souga and Souga, hearing it, runs away embarrassed. This is really wierd.
Later on when they walk home, a guy hits on Megumi and she slaps him, thus earning a scolding from Miki. Suddenly the guy's friends appears and the fan club has no idea what to do except protect her, well Fujiki anyways. When he says her name, Megumi has no idea who he is and offers to protect Megumi. He gets his but handed to him, but he won't give up. Megumi finally runs away at Miki's pleading.
While running away, Megumi decides to do the fighting anyways and rushes in. She kicks a**! Miki and Fujiki are both impressed at how she fights. When Megumi is down, a guy tries jmping on her only to have Souga save her. Megumi then is impressed by Souga's strength.
Ha! When he offers her his hand, Megumi only compliments his strength and leaves Souga in a happy state. Megumi then makes sure that Fujiki is. She leaves an impression on the boys and they leave her not thinking that all guys are detestable.
We are now at the end of episode 3. Is Megumi finally accepting his girly way of life or will things change in the next episode? Will he fall for Fujiki or Souga or will his opinion of guys turn back to what it was? Will Miki get a boyfriend? Will the curse be broken? Who knows. Stay tuned for episode 4!
See ya!
Episode 3 was really funny but the fan club were really annoying. The relationship between Megumi, Fujiki, and Souga has turned into a love triangle. I wonder what happens next.
