In her castle, a young girl cries. She is crying. Why was she hidden in here? Why cant she get out? She looks out her window, wondering and confused. She stands up and walks over to the window and stares out at the night sky. Oh how she wishes she could be up there in the stars. Any place would be better then this place. Before I go any father, you may ask, who is this princess? Well, her name is unknown. All thats known of her was she was hidden here years ago by an evil witch. Why? Well, because of her wonderous beauty. The young girl had beautiful blue eyes that made people think of a magical lake and hair a beautiful blonde. Her body was small, but when she wore dresses she was beautiful. Especially when she wore red. When she wore red, she looked as beautiful as a rose. Sadly, only certain people could see her beauty and only when they looked at the right time. At night, villagers would pass and gaze upon the beautiful princess as she stared up at the midnight sky. Sadly, it wouldnt last long for once she has noticed they have seen her, she would gasp and run back into the castlle, upon the blackened walls and the grimy furniture she was given. Only one man had she allowed to see her long enough to actually see her sadness. this boy was a handsome young man. A soldier of a nearby kingdom. She would allow him to stare at him as long as wanted, and when he left, she would hide back in her castle. Back to the princess though. Changing what she looked at from the sky to the ground, she suddenly saw a bunch of children staring up at her. She gasped and ran back in the castle. Hopefully, they would leave. She didnt want them to see her sadness. For her tears were poisonous acid that would kill them. once she heard nothing from outside, she walked back to the window and looked around the ground. The coast was clear..or so she thought. Before she knew it, a young man in an iron suit walked over to the castle and gazed up at the princess. She stared down at him, and a tear fell off her face. The man walked over and held his hand out to her, as if catching the tear in his hand. The princess wiped her eyes. Maybe this was her hope of freedom? She opened her mouth to yell, but then stopped. For walking behind the knight were two small children and a women. The princess watched as the women walked over to the knight and gave him a sweet kiss and swept the knight away. Tears began to fall down the princesses eyes. She could no longer stand this. Her only hope was taken from her. She walked away from the window and over to the bed. She pulled the old ragged sheet off the bed and placed it carefully over the window, holding it in by two small nails. She walked over to a dresser located next to her bed and pulled out a small knife. Her freedom would finally come..not the way she hoped, but a way that no one would ever need to see her sadness again and she would never feel it again. She lifted the knife above her head and slowly pulled it down. Before she could get it any closer, she heard someone scream for her. She dropped the knife and turned towards the window. Who could it be? She opened the cloth hiding the window and stared down to see a young boy. He looked..familiar. He was shouting, 'please come down, dear princess. I will save you from your sadness. I have gazed upon you from the wood and have seen your tears fall.' He held his arms out. A tear fell off the princesses eye as she walked towards the ledge. She jumped and the boy caught her. He stared into her eyes and smiled. 'young maiden Rose...I have rescued you..now will you be mine?' The boy said. The princess cried. Rose..that was her name. She nodded, happily, and was carried off into the night by the young boy.
