Item 5 (Historical research/writing: Left panel): Research on: Vasco da Gama
1) Childhood information. (Ex, birthdate and birthplace) 2) Family information. (Ex, info on mother/father, brother/sister, etc.) 3) Socio-economic info. (Ex, what class(es) is he from? Noble/commoner? Rich/poor?) 4) Education background. (Ex, any special schools? How did he learn nautical/navigational skills?)
Items 6&7 (Picture: Left panel): Find two pictures of Vasco da Gama. Provide captions explaining your picture.
Item 8 (Historical research/writing: center panel): 1) The country and monarchy Vasco da Gama sailed for. Why did he sail for this country and monarch? 2) The countries and people Vasco da Gama discovered and/or explored. Where did he go and whom did he see? 3) The accomplishments and firsts that Vasco da Gama achieved. What did he do that maybe no one else did? Was he this first to do that something? 4) The things, technology, or people Vasco da Gama brought back to home.
Items 9&10 (Picture: center panel): Find two pics of Vasco da Gama's travels, explorations, and/or discoveries and yeah, provide the captions for the pictures.
