Chapter 4 Part 4 Redemption Reunion
As the glass began to fall and with what left of my strength, I grabbed Muandrog and dragged him in.
“WHY DID YOU DO THAT?” Govind shouted. I motioned Yuuki to help heal my arm.
“Because before he dies you need to hear something from him.” I plunged my hand into his chest carefully and pulled out the small Navimle mind control device.
“Wha-What’s that?” Yuuki asked and looked a bit horrified with what I did.
“This is a mind control device that Navimle made to control even his tyrants.”
“Yes and he has been controlling me and your mother since we met him.” He said while pointing at Govind.
“Wha-What do you mean?”
“Before you were born, I met him a twisted man with a desire to control all, I was his local doctor and tried to reason with him, but failed. He implanted within me during one of our sessions and soon began to control me. Later after you were born he also placed one in your mother, but she was slowly braking away from his curse.”
“When she entered high school, she broke free and tried to free me. She was slowly succeeding, but when the big magic burst happen and my half-giant part was activated I was more influenced under him. Finally to make sure he could completely control me; he killed my wife while possessing me and caused the chain events that happen to now.”
“I decided at that point that even if you could forgive me, I should die for all the pain I caused you.” He coughed up blood. “I know you won’t forgive me easily, but I am sorry for everything.” He began to cry. “I was just a fool and now I die one.”
At first, Govind just stood there not sure what to do or believe. He slowly walked up to his father looking down at the broken man. Then he fell to his knees and started to cry.
“Dad” he said. He hugged him.
“I’m sorry, so sorry.” His dad kept repeating.
“Don’t worry, old man, I forgive you. I just wished you didn’t have to die.”
“Maybe, we can.” I said.
Govind turned to me and said, “You can?”
“No, WE can.” I said as I pointed to Yuuki and I.
“Wha-How?” Both, Yuuki and Govind said.
“We use this.” I pull out the marble mind control device (I think I’ll refer to it as the NMMCD, Navimle Marble Mind Control Device.)
“How?” Govind asked again.
“This device gave my sword increased power. Maybe if we use it on Yuuki, she can stop Muandrog’s death.” Both of them looked amazed.
“You serious?” Govind asked. I nodded. “Will you do it Yuuki?” He was serious.
“I will for you saved me and never asked anything in return, you protected me even though you could have been killed. I should at least do this for you.” Yuuki said.
He smiled, in a way I hadn’t see in a long time.
I broke the gem and sprinkled it on top of Yuuki and she activated her magic and placed a giant blue orb over Muandrog’s chest.
A bright light soon filled the room; Yuuki and Muandrog lifted in the air. And my arm began to fix the hole in my arm and my armor.
After about 30 seconds, the light disappeared and Yuuki and Muandrog were falling to the ground. I caught Yuuki while Govind caught his dad. We called to them and then they awoke.
“You two okay?” I asked.
“Yes, I feel perfectly fine.” Said Yuuki.
“You okay, dad?” Govind asked.
“Yes, I will be fine, son, I will be fine.” Muandrog said.
I stayed a few days and watch as Muandrog shut down the factories and fixed up the system of work.
People were over joy as were some of the upper lands. Not all, but hey, nothing is perfect.
On my last day, Govind, Yuuki, and I were to be knighted with a special surprise as Muandrog said.
The ceremony was held in the courtyard, Jordan was siting in the front with a badge from the now nicer and more controlled Robo-Guards after they were reprogrammed. Jordan and the others dismantled the giant Robo-guard and wore its badge as a way to show their victory.
All three of us were dress in white clothing. Yuuki had a bright and beautiful white dress with her hair up and a lovely ponytail. Jordan and I wore white tux and our hair was a bit of a mess. I also wore my mask and Muandrog didn’t need to know who I was yet.
We came up and he took the sword, first to Yuuki.
“I dub thee, Lady Yuuki of Harmony.” Then moved to me.
“I dub thee, Sir Nobody of Twilight.” Finally he moved towards his son.
“I dub thee, not only Sir Govind of Courage, but you are now the new King of England.” Muandrog then bowed before his son as he passed his crown to him.
Everyone in the crowd bowed before Govind as well as Yuuki and I.
“Dad, I…I don’t know what to say.”
“Just promise, you’ll do better than me.”
“I will Dad.”
Everyone cheered and began to party into the night. Govind, Yuuki and I manage to get away for the evening and spent some time together.
“Well, that was a great adventure, right Govind?” I asked.
“Yeah, bit short though. So where are you off to next?”
“I am going south to Africa next.”
“When do you leave?” asked Yuuki.
“Tomorrow, I am slowly running out of time.”
“Why?” They asked.
I explained the situation.
“So I need to hurry.”
“Well, just remember if you need any help we are here for you.” Said Govind.
“Thanks.” I said.
Yuuki came up and gave me a kiss, “Good luck, Nobody-kun.”
“Nobody-kun…I could get use to that.”
I said my final good byes to them and they gave me a few tips to use their technique in case of emergencies.
“You still need to work on your own before others.” Reminded Govind.
“Maybe this is my style.” I replied. We laughed a bit.
Then, I turned towards the door, then turned around and jumped out of the still needed repair window.
“You had to leave in a cool fashion, didn’t you?” shouted Govind.
“YEP!” I replied and jumped down to the castle, ‘borrowed’ a car from Govind’s line of cars and drove off towards the south again. I set to autopilot for I was about to fall asleep again.
As I reached the bottom part of the country and before I fell into the land of dreams, I saw what many saw for the first times in their lives. A bright shining hope through the darkest hours.
