You know, I was baking with a friend and we had an interesting discussion on the strangeness of certain aspects of certain food color. What started it was that i wondered aloud why they call them egg whites when they're actually yellow when you crack open the egg. Then she said that it was also strange about how vanilla the cooking ingrediant was black and the vanilla ice cream flavor is white. I'm pretty sure we're the only ones who think about these things.
