Chapter 3 Part 4 Perfect Tag Team
Fighting with Govind, I wonder if we were still in sync with each other.
Before we went to fight, what seems to be the leader of the Robo-Guards announced to our group,
“SURRENDER TO US, THE NOBODY OF TWILIGHT AND THE GIRL AND WE SHALL LEAVE WITHOUT A CONFRONTATION, FAILER TO DUE SO WILL RESULT IN DEATH FOR ALL WHO FAIL TO COMPLY. YOU HAVE ONE HOUR TO ANSWER.”
“Well, that is a predicament for you and Yuuki-chan.” Said Govind. Then a bell began ringing. “A wartime meeting, why do we need one?” We dashed to the meeting room Govind told me to sit next to him and had Yuuki sit behind us.
“Okay, what is this meeting about?” ask Govind. I doubt he couldn’t tell right away, but I had a hunch what it was already.
“We, the Council, “ said one of the voices, “wish to rid of the Nobody of Twilight and the insignificant girl and have nothing to do with the Robo-Guards.” Yuuki look very sad and shivered a little.
“I OBJECT.” Shouted Govind. Everyone was shocked when they heard his voice like a bear trying to keep people away from his cubs. Yuuki look at him with a confused, but smiled and began to cry.
“What do you say, Govind?”
“I disagree with that tactic, why is it when someone is involved with the Robo-Guards, we eject them from our group. Every year, you all wonder why our numbers are so short, it is because you keep sacrificing our people to them.” The people all seem shock and started arguing many points.
“SILENCE!” Shout Govind again. “It’s now the time, I believe to strike now with Nobody on our side. Now we will strike all and destroy the Capital. This is what we fight for, this is why we exist. Now, you are with me and against me.”
Then he pressed a button on his desk and a small mike popped out of his desk. He then said, “ATTENTION ALL PERSONAL. WE ARE NOW TO DECLARE WAR ON THE CAPITAL. ALL THOSE READY TO FIGHT MEET OUT IN FRONT FOR OUR DECLARATION TO END THE TYRANTY.” He then put the mike away and said to the Council. “Good day, Gentlemen, I hope to not meet you if you don’t follow with me.” He then got up and Yuuki and I followed in suit.
“Thank you, Govind.” Yuuki said quietly and blushed a bit.
“Your welcome, Yuuki-chan.” He responded.
We waited outside for others to come, with half an hour left, no one was coming. Twenty minutes left. Ten, Five, it looks like we’d be alone. Govind and I couldn’t handle all of them, most maybe, but not all.
Then near the end of the time limit people began coming first one at a time, then by tens, then by hundreds.
One of them came up to Govind and said, “We are ready to fight, sir.”
“Good, what is your name?”
“I don’t know sir, born without one.”
“Then I shall call you…Jordan. Lead us to victory.”
“I will, sir.”
Then the Robo-Leader called out,
“WHAT IS YOU ANSWER?”
We all shouted, “NEVER!”
“VERY WELL PREPARE TO EXTERMINATED!”
They began to charge us while we began to charge them.
The fight was going good, most people had electronic devices to short out robots, while other were strong enough to break them.
Soon a small amount of the Robo-guards were depleted but soon Govind and I were caught in the center of the group.
“Just like last time, huh, WHOA.” He dodged a blade.
“Looks like you are out of practice, Govind.” Then I barely missed being shot at.
“Same to you.”
“Touché. Now let’s get serious this time.”
“Lets.”
We soon were beginning to act a bit more ruthless, we were destroying them left and right and soon more than half were gone in a heap of leftovers.
“Not bad, Govind.”
“Same to you, Nobody.”
“TAKE THIS HUMAN”
Soon they began to link together and formed a giant Robo-Guard.
They began to shoot giant shots at us and whacking the ground.
Govind and I decide to do a tag team attack, using each other, we jumped up towards on of it’s arms and I began to attack it, but my blade barely scratched it.
“Damn, Govind, this thing is harder than my blades.”
We began jumping all around the Giant Robo-Guard.
“But didn’t Yuuki-chan say you cut down those Robos earlier.”
“I did, but this metal is tougher.”
“Heh, well, I guess it’s time to show you my finishing move.” Govind said, “QUICK, HAND ME MY STAFF.” He shouted.
“I thought we weren’t going to use weapons in our fight earlier?”
“Yeah, but there are three different about this situation. First, we are kind of fighting a giant mecha monster. Second, the technique is still incomplete so I was going to test it on you first. Third, whoa!” He ducked from the Robo trying to grab him on his arm. “Third, the staff just increases my strength.”
“Here,” Shouted Jordan as he threw the staff.
Govind jumped into air and grabbed it and landed on the ground.
He then said some sort of incantation and a light green ball appeared at the ends of his staff.
He then used the end pointing away from him to dash forward then he began to point it towards the Robo’s chest while the other end became more pointed. I jumped off the Robo and we passed each other in the air smiling wickedly at each other and I said, “You’ll get this one, but I get the next big one.”
“Very well.” he replied.
He then pierced the giant Robo and it exploded into multiple scrapes and crushed most of the remaining Robo-Guards.
Finally there were only a few left.
“THIS IS ILLOGICAL! WE HAVE MORE NUMBERS, MORE POWER, MORE EVERYTHING, YET YOU HUMANS HAVE INIALATE US ALL, WHY, WHY, WHY?”
“Because unlike you, we believe that there is always a chances even if it is less than 1.”Said Govind striking his staff on the ground.
“WELL, THE KING SHALL HERE OF THIS AND PREPARE A COUNTER-STRIKE EVEN THOUGH WE FAILED, WE SHALL CREATE A STRONGER GROUP. WE WILL, HA HA HA HA HA HA!”
They ran away and I shouted to them. “Fine, tell them to be prepared in five days, then for them to prepare for sleep permanently.”
We all celebrated victory that night and burned a bunch of the parts of the Robo-Guards. But some of the tech took them and said they’ll have some new weapons by the times it was battle time.
Govind was still the same crazy party fool I knew him to be no matter how serious he seemed to be, at parties he entertain everyone doing trick, telling jokes, and being the life of the party.
I went to look for Yuuki, but she was no where to be seen, I decide to wait and ask her about her past later, don’t know how I was going to ask such a personal matter.
For now, the dawn was facing us, a new start was beginning, but who will live to see the next one, them or us?
