D.C. DAY 1 June 19, 2009 10:49 AM
We are here! The baggage claim took FOREVER! Julie, Shawna, Kait and I are harrasing Jesse through text. ITS HILARIOUS! We are on the coach bus. Mr. Wenninger said to put on seat belts so I said "WHERE ARE THE SEAT BELTS?!" but there were none...oops lol! We were at the zoo for a half an hour. Kait, Shawna, Julie and I saw a panda (the butt), small mammals, and elephants. We also stopped at a gift shop. Kait got a stuffed panda and named it Box. Julie got candy. Shawna got a water bottle, and a stuffed panda named Pandora. I got a red braclet. Kait was pretending to be my kid, and she is older so its really funny! We are going to the mall for lunch.
2:45 PM----
We had McDonalds for lunch (Julie, Kait and me). Shawna had Taco Bell. The Pentagon City Mall has just about every fast food restraunt known to man! Lol! We just got back from the Pentagon Memorial. The youngest to die was a 3 year old boy, he died in the plane. Then the oldest was a 71 year old retired Navy Pilot. He died in the plane too. If you looked at the name and you were facing the Pentagon then they died in the building. If you were looking toward the sky then they died in the plane. 57 people died in the plane (all of them), then over 100 died in the Pentagon. NEXT IS THE NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM! =]IT'S FREAKING HOT OUT!
5:35 PM---
We were just at the National Air and Space Museum. I fell in love with that place! We had an hour to roam around. I took over 100 pics there. All the planes were SOOO awesome! Some were ancient, some were more modern. There was an observation tower, me and Julie thought it was REALLY cool. We saw mountains, an airport AND BEAUTIFUL VIEWS! There was a space shuttle in the space hangar. I loved that section so much. It cooled off so that was nice. WOW! We were leaving and passed ANGELINA JOLIE! None of us noticed it until we left. Then people had to 'go to the bathroom'. It was REALLY funny! And it was only our first day! I lost my phone! I heard it clank then I couldn't find it anywhere. Then I heard sliding, I looked under the seat in front of me and found it :]. We are eating dinner next. Then a 3 hour ride to Williamsburg.
6:40 PM----
We just ate at the Boston Market. I had chicken, Mac & Cheese, a brownie and corn with Cherry Coke. They have AWESOME chicken. Ha! Kait was poking Ty and found his tickle spot. He was flinching SO bad! I laughed so hard! Ty, Kait and I ate together. We were telling stories and stuff. It was fun. We are taking a 3 hour ride to Williamsburg now. It's going to be a LONG ride. Ty humped a seat and it was REALLY funny! He said to me "Oh you know you want that. You know it stephanie!" I almost cried from laughing so hard. Today was really fun. It's almost done, but we have a little more to go today.
