Let's see, where should we start? Well, first; his name is Loriuth. It's a strange name I know but, once you've heard his story I think the name will make more sense. It's an ordinary name, for some one so extra-un-ordinary. You see, when you meet this man surely you'll be convinced that he's some one from your past you don't remember. The way he'll carry on so comfortable, like he's known you for years. But it's alright, cause after you stop feeling like such a bad person for not knowing who he is, you'll realize you are in fact sane, and he is in fact, a stranger. Oh the way he carries on, the way he shouts and hollers, jokes and kids. Boy oh boy if ever a man there was to.. Well.. Avoid.
It's not his fault, but he's deadly attractive, and deadly annoying. Everything he does is so painfully blunt, so self righteous.. The way goes about as if he is worth more than anyone around him. You'll hate him for it, you'll envy him for it, and you'll love him for it. And the more you love him, the more you'll hate yourself. It's better to not have met him.
But enough of that, I'll lose you if I keep going on about this. I can't explain to you, no matter how much I dawdle on about it. You have to see it for yourself! So instead of saying what he is, let me show you who he is.
Bored, stagnant, he surveyed his room, staring intently at the paint. "God, DAMN! I'm so bored." He said dejectedly rolling off of his bed and crashing into his floor. So for a while he lied there in his awkwardly comfortable position on his floor, before finally standing to compose himself. He dusted off his shirt and pants, tightened his belt. His belt is how you knew he was serious, the only days he'd put his belt on is when he really wanted to get something done. He grabbed his keys and pulled out his cellphone, looking in it for a number that seemed interesting. But the problem is he hates everyone he knows, and well, despite looking through all his numbers, he calls none of them.
He places all his value in his value to others, but he loathes society, and people. He finds most people detestable, worthless. But he craves their approval. Well anyway, his ego does at least.
He doesn't do any drugs, doesn't smoke, or drink. You'd think he has no dependency on substances. But he does have an addiction, if you'll give it that much urgency to be called an addiction. You see, he craves... Affection. It's a sad side product of his life's goal. To be loved unconditionally.
So now we're here, relocated to a much more social environment, a bar actually. A loathing pit of failure, people who place no value in themselves. Losers, wastes of oxygen, and more importantly; easy targets. He made his way across the room, carrying himself with a very confident walk. You could see it in his eyes that he felt empowered. He was acting so confident that I could swear to you that just being around him was enough to become motivated. He found his seat, and started looking for his target. He needed some one just right, enough to stimulate his interest, but not so well off that he couldn't control them.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention. He's an absolute master of manipulation. He knows what to say, what to do, how to act, to get what he needs out of most people.
Anyway, where were we? That's right, the bar.
That's when he saw her, a cute girl, fairly petite looking, tucked away by herself in the corner. She looked like she didn't even want to be there. After watching her for a few moments the only notable things she even did was fiddle with her straw. That's another thing, she was drinking soda, as opposed to an alcoholic beverage. Either she didn't believe in drinking, or she wasn't a bold enough person to attempt. Perfect.
"Well now, don't you just look like you wish you had something better to do, eh? So then let me offer you an alternative to this rather boring activity that you've currently dedicated your attentions to."
((SO I opened this with the intent to write more, but I don't think I will.. Not yet. But the good news is that I AM going to write more, just not tonight.))
