i think I'm the happiest I've been in days at this present moment.
Around 6:00 pm, I got a phone call rom my best friend.
As I'm sure you have heard from the internet, my fourm posted, and just me telling you, My older sister (the one on my profile), her boyfriend (a friend of mine), his 2 sisters, and my best friend were in an accident. My sister and her Boyfriend were pronuced dead at the scene, and the other three were sent to a near by hospital.
However, My friend and one of the sisters were moved out of the ICU, but the other sister caught an infection and was in quartine type place. My friend was put into a physical thearpy room, and the younger sister came to the memorial we had on the 30th. that was the last that I heard.
As I stated above, around 6:00 pm, my phone began to ring. Answering it, I heard a voice on the other line that made me want to cry. My dear friend had called me from his hospital room. We were able to talk for about 5 minutes, but i think just those 5 minutes on the phone with him has made me so happy. I think I can now rest easier knowing that he is alright. not just having people tell me, but hearing it from him.
After i hung up the phone, I walked into the living room, and bawled for about 30 seconds. My sisters kinda laughed at me, but asked if i was ok. Of course it didn't help that I flipped over the arm of the couch and went face to face with my neice that we all laughed harder, even the baby. I'm so happy I could cry right now.
I bet his girlfriend is rejoicing that he's ok even as I type this. I know how she feels.
hopefully I'll get to go see him soon. i think that's the best birthday present i can ask for was to hear him on the phone.
