Setting: Dark city crawling with creepy and disturbing creatures ranging from simple demons to creatures that exist only in nightmares. The city is well lit with oil and gas lamps. The bulidings are pitch black from the smog. There are several taverns and gathering places in the city. Some of the most famous are...The Grim Reaper (a ship tavern), Knight Mare (a tavern with a black horse head sign), and lastly The Clock Tower.
There are appartments above the Clock Tower and Knight Mare taverns. They charge by the week at incredibly high prices.
There is also a park where the younger children play during the light hours, an abandoned mine shaft and industrial plant, and a still working mill. The park is very dangerous. It is a feeding ground for demons and is littered with broken glass from bottles. There is a river dividing the park from the mill. The water is polluted and radioactive. The Underground can be accessed by the tunnel system in either of the taverns listed above. The Underground is mostly abandoned metro rail lines and where some of the bigest parties are held.
The ocean provides the city with food and transportation. The ferry leaves for the Island every five hours 24/7. The Island is mostly a giant marketplace where people from all walks of life come to sell items; food, machinery, clothing, and even people.
