Sensual. Sweet. Soothing.
A deadly combination as to for,
seduction.
The smell- breathtaking.
Dense as it is strong, it coaxes you
into a blank expression,
Unable to comprehend her beauty,
loosing control, you let go.
Grasping her closer to you, you clutch
her waist making your bodies touch.
Soon you notice that same
look you always recognize as her surrender
as well.
She kisses you, her eyes ablaze, intent
only in satisfying her desire.
But you regain control, you stop her,
she sits atop you staring.
Sitting up you hug her, the warmth
of the embrace touches
every point of stress.
You stroke her hair, you kiss her
forehead, the her lips.
She understands you, she snuggles into your
chest.
You both lay there for awhile, just
talking, kissing, and laughing.
Her eyes light up,
brighter than usual. Her dimples
show, you can’t help but smile.
The sensual smells
return, this time stronger
than the last.
You bring your face closer to
hers, inhaling the sweet
smell of her love.
Then you remember the point of
your trip.
To be with her, just her, her and
you, you and her.
You kiss her nose, she kisses
you lips, signaling
that she doesn’t want you to stop.
Your free hand reaches into your
pocket.
Arising, you get off the bed and
turn to face her.
She sits up worried, wondering if
she did something wrong.
Slowly you drop down to one knee, the
air around you stiffens. The room is
quiet that a pen drop is noticed.
The opening the case,
the diamond ring makes it’s debut.
She cries hands over her mouth.
Awestruck at the sight of your proposal,
she accepts.
She notices the engraved letters inside the ring:
“To Forever Love You”
