Ahem...!
"(The government) needs to explain how it is possible for a submarine carrying weapons of mass destruction to collide with another submarine carrying weapons of mass destruction in the middle of the world's second-largest ocean," lawmaker Angus Robertson of the opposition Scottish National Party said.
Mmm. Well, I'll say.

So, like, yeah. When I first saw the preview of the article on the Yahoo! front page (i.e. the article name and a sentence or two about it), I was hecka worried. I was like "zOMG UNDERWATER HIROSHIMA-NAGASAKI!" Or something like that. I was very alarmed. So I pulled up the article and, amazingly, it was not about boring political stuff, so I could actually read and understand it. Wow. Problem resolved and user redeemed! Yes. So anywho, I read it and calmed down a bit. Just a bit, though. You see, "getting" the article has side effects. I get what Robertson was saying in the phrase I posted here. Now that really does worry me again, but not in the same way. The way I felt seeing the article name worried me in a kind of Shockwave-Immediate-Fear-Like-Being-Told-WWII-is-Going-to-Be-Reenacted-And-We're-Having-the-Nazi-War-and-Prejudice-All-Over-Again sort of worry, or maybe even It's-Raining-What-Am-I-Going-to-Do-I'm-Fifty-Miles-Away-From-Home-the-Laundry's-Going-to-Be-Crap-When-I-Get-Back sort of worry. Now, though, it worries me as in future-worry kind of way. As in Maybe-WWII-Might-Start-Again sort of way, or I-Accidently-Put-In-a-Cheap-Bright-Color-In-With-My-Expensive-White-Lacoste-Polo kind of worry. This might be bad.
P.S. Why the hell didn't I know anything about this before?! Even if only the French said something about maybe hitting a container or something, it's a friggin' nuclear submarine! WHY?! The words nuclear are like inadvertent hooks for people. I would definitely have pulled up the article. I mean, this happened earlier[ this month! I should have known about it! Britain, how could you! You must inform the world of the problems during your nuclear doings! Anything drastic happens, we're completely screwed, because you didn't want to mention it! All because you want people to have a sense of security about your country! You have to involve the world. Like Angus Robertson said, you're carrying weapons of mass destruction with you. And you crashed into another submarine carrying nuclear missiles, and you didn't think this was important enough to tarnish the faith in your country, even a little? Well, congratulations, Britain. I always thought I might go to England sometime during college, as an exchange student or something. Forget it. I'm going to Germany or China. Screw it if the people's images of those countries are kind of bad, my own image of you has been forever destroyed. I never held it against you for fighting against the Revolutionary War, because technically it was your own land, and those people were terrorists in your own country. But now? Well, I've brought up all the doubts and prejudices of my soul to you. I'm not going there to learn. I'll stay in a nearby country and learn about the British side of the War there. I don't think it's safe in England.
