Russell B. Docy Jr. Age: 18 Born 1990, died 2008 of a seizure. Liked trading cards and RPG. Russell was a student at North Ridgeville Middle school. He was a senior, and would be graduating this year. Instead, he lies uncomfortably in a casket in David Bogner Family Funeral Home. His pale face now a light tan, and his hair swept neatly out of his eyes. His hands are folded. He looks like a wax man. His mother, two brothers and father sit in the front row. The boys' eyes are glazed over and they stare at Russell.
Russell was part of a band and played piano. He enjoyed online RPG like RuneScape.
I wish I could've been his friend. I stared at his face and broke down into heavy sobs. I held the little card with his name and date of birth and death on it. On the front it said:
"May They Rest In Peace" On the back it says:
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference."
He died Sunday December 7th in his house of a seziure. The amubalnce didn't make it in time.
I went with my friends Brittany and Angela to see his corpse. It was so hard to see how different he looked. So unreal... My friend Brad was there too, trying not to cry, be cool. He was suffering. A while later, My friends Will and Julian came. They sat behind us and stared. Will began to cry and they went to write in the book. They were very close. Death is horrible and now I'm rethinking my life. I had wished to die and no one would care. Now, seeing this boy who I've never met before and crying until I couldn't breathe, makes me realize people care more than you think.
"How come I always fall for the dead ones?" I'll miss you, even though we never met. Be Happy and I'll pray for you, Russell.
