So, my Halloween hasn't been too bad.
It started with a trip to the doctor's office, where I found out that I didn't catch bronchitis from my dad, and it's just my allergies making me sick... again. Or we're pretty sure anyway, since I don't have a fever (even though I don't seem to get fevers, ever, no matter what I'm sick with). Oh well. The doctor gave me a big bottle of antibiotics, in case it turns out to be bronchitis or a bad sinus infection.
But it's very likely that it's my allergies kicking me in the butt. Makes sense, seeing as I skipped out on my medication for a few months. >_> They weren't bothering me at all, so I didn't think I needed my medication. Oops.
That's one of the first times I've ever been happy to have allergies. I got in quicker than my dad did, so even if it is bronchitis, no penicillin shot for me! Nope, I get penicillin pills instead, basically. Hooray!
But I'm still sick... not hooray. So, because apparently being sick comes with feeling cold all the damn time, my faery costume was out. I can't wear a sweater over the wings. XP
So I kind of borrowed my friends idea for a flapper costume (you know who you are), since the sweater jacket I've been wearing for the past few days to keep warm looks kind of twenties-ish. So I used the dress for my faery costume with a few other things around my room, and threw together a quick flapper costume for the sake of being able to wear my warm sweater.
We didn't get very many trick-or-treaters this year. We got like, what, seven? So now I'm stuck with a TON of tootsie rolls. XD I'm not complaining too much.
And my mom and I watched a countdown of 100 freakiest horror movies. Jaws made it as number one... the hell? It's not THAT scary. D: It belongs high on the list, sure, but not the top. The Exorcist should have won. Seriously. Or maybe The Thing (that movie freaking gave me nightmares!)
And we also watched a bunch of stuff on the Travel Channel earlier, about the most haunted places in the world. Savannah never made it on any of these shows. I was dissapointed, since it's known as one of the most haunted cities in the US. >_>
Watched a bunch of skeptics try to disprove some of the events that happened in said places... and laughed at them because they couldn't. XD
And found out that the Lizzy Bordon house is now a bed and breakfast. That's not creepy AT ALL. 0_o
And now, I'm off to watch a few horror movies before I go to bed. Tomorrow, it's garage sale day. I have to get up super early to set up while my mom goes off to put up signs. We were supposed to set those up today, but we spent forever in the doctors office (suckish!).
