So, that one black cat that comes around and beats Squish up every now and then... yeah, he's back. In a big way.
There haven't been any fights yet, which is good, but that cat has gotten brave. He's tried to come into the garage for Squish's food when there are people in there! Bad idea, because my dad will shoot him, and I don't want that to happen.
I don't blame the poor guy. He's a hungry stray cat. What can you do? I wish I could feed him, but I can't get him comfortable around here, because of my dad.
My best bet is to call Animal Control to pick him up and take him to a shelter, because I'm sure he'd be able to find a home. He seems friendly... just shy.
Problem is I think animal control things we live too far away for them. Since they're all the way in Savannah and all. D:
We have a branch here, too, but the local shelter only has six cages for cats. SIX. He wouldn't stand a chance there. They probably don't have room.
And he only comes around at night, so it's not like we can catch him and take him to Savannah the next day. We don't have anything to put him in.
I guess we'll see what happens. I'll look into Savannah animal control some more, and until then... I hope there's someone out there feeding him, or that he's really someone's cat. >_>
Since everyone lets their animals run around collarless out here. Completely stupid idea... but whatever floats their boat I guess.

And in more cat-related news, I met a little tabby down the street that wasn't afraid to run up to a moving bike to say hi. <3
Our neighbor's cat is confused. Poor girl. Why else would she be randomly meowing and pawing at our front door yesterday morning? We were kind of like "uhh... sweetie, your house is over there". XD
And I saw Patches the other day! She doesn't look half bad. Somebody actually feeds her now. She's not all anorexic looking anymore.
