A poem I did for a skewl project. I hope I get an A. sweatdrop
A veil behind my eyes. A smile in front of my face. The wind flies on by, and sweat is all I taste.
I travel by and by to see the land and rising sun. The Golden serpants in the sky are faster than me. Soon I see the Heavens above, the sun behind the trees.
I rest my weary self, and listen to natures tune. There I begin to compose a farce fantasia of fantastic stories. My pen takes me to tales of ancient and new Japan, of great times and glories.
I attempt to express myself through other styles, but I admit my lack of skills is what holds me back. It's something I love to do even though it's something I lack.
I soon lay myself to rest but not before sweet melodies have taken me away. The tempo a soothing beat that keeps me calm and ready. The voices of the people play through the night o'so steady.
I wake at dawn and continue my journey again. This time with more learned and more to see. This time with more to intake and to live more for me.
