Mia was tired of walking and lying down with Kita across her back"Kita any other time i wouldnt mind having you on me but right now my paws hurt"
The fox put a paw over Mia's face"you got us in this so shut up"
As soon as it was quiet they both heard rustling in the bushs"What the ******** both said quietly before something lashed at them and the dodged only for Mia to get snatched up..Kita looked up to see a man/snake with a snake body for legs and the torso of a man holding the cat by the neck about to break it
"LET.HER.GO!"she yelled as she jumped at him only to be swatted away with a flick of the snakes tail.Mia saw this and bit through it's hand only to be tossed away as it laughed slithering over quickly with venom dripping from its mouth
Angel ran through the forest,coming across dead human bodys with black armor on them and looked closer to see their skin melted from their faces with some kind of substance before he turned to see animals hanging from trees seeming as if they were burned too only there were peices of their bodys here and there
"What the hell,i thought there was no other animals here"he then noticed the forest closing infront of him and grabbed a sword off of one of the bodys before sprinting through to hear hissing and laughter after a hurt sound came along.He looked through some vines to see Mia fending of Sagoa,he swung the blade at the vines only to see them grow back as soon as he cut them
"KITA,HERE CHOP HIS a** UP"he tosses the blade into the vine to see her catch it in her teeth as he tried to push the vines aside
Sagoa noticed this and hissed while jumping at the fox as she got in a ready stance waiting for the right time to jump and as soon as it came she jumped slashing his body inhalf as he gave a ear ringing scream
Kita dropped the blade and rushed over to Mia who was knocked out and not breathing"Mia,wake up,Mia"she shook the cat over again before dread hit her and she sadly hung her head
Angel found his way through the vines and sat next to the fox rubbing her back"im sorry"
She only nodded before she heard a light snore,then her eyes widened as she walked over and nudged the cat to see her swing her paw sleeply"Mia!"she hit her to see her flip over and smile
"miss me"she asked while yawning"he hit me with a slumber punch or something cause it felt as soft as a pillow when he hit me so i said zzzzz"she then acted like she was falling asleep again
Kita didnt know whether to be mad or happy so she slapped the cat hard with her tail then cuddled her"stupid"
Angel only smiled and picked them up before noticing the forest changing"s**t gotta go"he then bolted off as the forest was changing behind him,He got to the clearing with the others letting them run through before the vines closed,but as he was about to go through something grabbed his ankle,he then turned back to see Sagoa smirk before biting his leg
"Die wolf,for what you did to us all"He gave a laugh as Angel reached down and ripped his jaw off thus freeing his leg as he jumped through just in time
The mole walked over and lifted him from the ground"Your lucky,the forest decided to give you more time"he said not noticing the bite on Angel's leg
Rissa ran to her travel buddy along with Serenity and tugged his pants leg to make him look down to see her them giving a huge smile
"hey you two"he bent down and picked them up as he said this
"Can we leave this place now"serenity asked with a wry look at the mole with the bear agreeing
He nodded with a smile then snapped as a path was formed to the exit,they all bid him farewell before Angel turned to him
"whats your name"
The mole gave a smile"its verdain,why?"
The wolf shook his head"Because when i meet new people i want to know their names,ive been alone most my life,so i like making friends"
Verdain shook his head"you sound nothing like that wolf that was a few seconds away from killing me"
"well thats just the way i am.....would you like to come with us?"
"nope,i have to stay here and protect what little home i have left,hopefully we will meet again,Angel"the mole then sank into the ground slowly while bowing as the wolf shook his head
He then walked out to see everyone growling at Sakura who looked back with disdain
"whats going on?"
