It's still about four days from making landfall in the U.S. The current projected path takes it directly here. Friday makes the third anniversary of Katrina. Only with Katrina, we just made it on the west side of the eye, which is the better side to be on. Gustav's path looks to put us in the brunt of the storm. We had it bad enough for Katrina, with bag trees coming down, covering every inch of the yard, against the house, but nothing crashed through our house and the flooding was on the other side of town, closest to the Lake. We were the lucky ones. For every other storm, we had evacuated, but for Katrina, we did not. Two weeks in the heat, no running water, Red Cross help after three days. At if Gustav isn't bad enough, we have Hanna right behind. We have no cushion for gas, a room, and food to evacuate. I'm scared.
