Bess growled. "Alright boys, enough of your yellow belly....the next port we attack, and I mean it, if any one of you even thinks about running I'll shoot you here." Captain Bess Morgan had once been a young girl who had never thought about being a pirate until one day her parents had been killed by pirates and she had been taken aboard and fought the pirates herself. She's impressed them. Casually Yuuta walked down the length of the largest port dock. He wore normal clothes, refusing to be caught dead in a Captain soldier's garments. Yuuta Strate wasn't proud to uphold a family honor of having their eldest son in the king's guard. It wasn't much of an honor to be promoted to Captain either. His step was rather lazy than casual for a moment as he looked out to deep dark waters. Being assigned to pirate watch wasn't the most exciting thing in anyone's life, but when pirates did attack, Yuuta always found himself having fun. Resting his hand on the hilt of his own sword he took a deep breath, the salty sea air held a tingle of excitement.
Bess looked through the spy glass. She chuckled. "One young man on watch, how interesting....are the guns ready, Mr. Jones?" "Aye, aye, cap'n." She grinned, a wicked sort of grin. "Fire!" All eighteen cannons went off, aimed directly at the small fortress. Hmm...this would be easy...maybe to easy. She swung off the ship landing directly in front of the young man. "You're government is foolish, setting on boy as guard against pirates." She raised her cutlass. "An innocent guy can't take a walk at night anymore," he murmured to the woman, unsheathing his sword, a rapier, not many of the government working men wielded one. "I wouldn't call myself a boy either, fair lady," he held up his rapier at a ready position, in case anyone tried to pull a fast one on him, "I'd say I'm a few years your senior and you my junior." There were armed men piling out of the open fortress doors, dressed clad in uniforms, "Young man!" someone called to Yuuta, but he didn't turn. "It's dangerous over there." "I'm a little busy, I'll get back to you in a moment," Yuuta spoke without looking back. He knew that no one recognized him as Captain at the moment, but if he said his name was Yuuta anyone would know. He was particularly famous for being the first within his family promoted to captain rather than war general or adviser. The man sounded like he was going to reply before getting pummeled to the ground. A brawl was beginning to break out between the soldiers and the pirates, the only ones with a decent sword fight seemed to be Yuuta himself, though being it with a lady it didn't really seem decent any longer. "Rule one..." She growled and attacked him, aiming for his shoulder directly, it was a game to her. "Don't think just because I'm a lady that makes me fair. Rule two..." She glared. "Also just because I look young doesn't mean I am..." The pirates were attacking well. They charged full force the cannons still going. Yuuta had been distracted for a second, the fortress was just beginning their lighting of their cannons. He ducked, barely in time, "Well, I guess I just thought you were fair. If you don't want to be either, young nor fair, that's something you might want to take up with your inner female." Yuu retorted, "And then there's this thing," he was never really good with speaking with women, if a woman contradicted him or told him he did something wrong, there was always a comeback, "no one said I was going to listen to a pirate's rules." He countered her glare with a light smile, turning around with a quick butterfly sweep of his blade, aiming low for the legs. She chuckle and jumped then moved quickly. She moved close to him. "You know....you're cute." She whispered in his ear, before slicing his arm and running off. "Sorry I have a king's treasury to raid!" She waved off as she ran.
She left him with a harsh blush and a blossoming cut. "You could have at least aimed for the legs," he called after her, she had just given him reason to run after her. A cut on the arm was nothing, he could use his rapier in either hand, though his dominant was his right. It held him a disadvantage when it came to combat. He debated as he ran to switch to a dagger, he was good with a dagger...but he decided against it. No matter how good he was with a dagger, he was deadly with a sword. Not that he would rush to kill the pirate girl, she interested him considerably. She was notably different from the girls about town, especially her reaction to compliments. Even her combat style was different, no one was really that...'close' when it came down to it. She had exploited his weakness already, leaving him only to chase after her. She chuckled she loved a good fight. “Hmm….interesting, even with that cut, he still runs after me, this itself might be rather interesting.” She cut down the guard guarding the treasury, she knew she was close, she could almost feel the treasure in her hands. He switched the rapier to his left hand quickly before slashing down at a pirate, or any other man that tried to get to him. There was a lot of confusion to which side he was on. Was he going after the pirate girl or was we accompanying her to the treasure? Yuuta was being held back, he couldn't get to her. Then an idea moved through his head, before thinking he turned the other way and went the way he had been earlier. He'd wait until the brawl ended. She laughed, she loved confusion, some of her men were already taking the treasure back to the ship, the guards here were easy to dispose of. “Keep working men, I have an appointment I must keep.” She jumped up to the top of the building and searched for the boy that she had been fighting earlier, he’d probably gone for reinforcements. Bandaging his cut slowly, Yuuta leaned against the bed post, he assumed he was in the medic's room. The medic would probably be out on deck taking care of patients for a while, he was free to roam for a bit. The thing was, what if he roamed right into a wrong room. That's right, he had successfully infiltrated the pirate's ship, a foolish act now that he had time to think about it. He thought about the headlines, 'Corpse Captain Yuuta found with whole in chest floating in the ocean, government suspects pirates'. She growled and cursed when she got aboard. Over ten of her men dead, but they had lived vailantly. "Raise anchor!" "B...but cap'n..." She turned. "Don't argue we have what we need, raise anchor." She raised her pistol. "Or do you want to meet Davy Jones as well, Smith?" The man paled and did as he was told, and watched as she went down stairs to her cabin. She immediately open a bottle, rum was only saved for the best occassions, and her men would want her to toast them, she poured out ten glasses. Of course she would only drink maybe two...and pour the rest back, but it was like a little ceremony. "Boys, you fought with your lives, I appreciate it." She downed the contents. He wandered about the room, he only shied away from the door when he heard footsteps coming down the length of the hall. Hearing the door close in the next room he listened in. It wasn't too hard, it wasn't as if the walls were made of concrete. The familiar voice of the female pirate, oh boy was he close to death. She downed a second one, before pouring all the other glasses back in the bottle, she needed to check on the wounded, so she slowly made her way to the medic's room. It was a way's down from her own cabin. She didn't even teeter a bit, it took her about five glasses to make her really drunk, and she was never good drunk When the footsteps were coming down the hall he felt himself tense. Someone opened the door but the voices weren't of the lady pirate. "How'd you get such a wound?" the medic asked, obviously he didn't speak like a pirate. As light came into the room Yuuta began to realize he was in the medics closet...so that's why there were a lot of bandages. It was a basic storage room for medical supplies, most were strapped to the shelves so that they wouldn't break. He hid behind one of the shelves in case the medic decided he needed more bandages. Bess walked in. She immediately recognized the boy, she didn't say anything. She stopped and looked at him. She found her voice suddenly. 'What the bloody hell do you think you're doing on my ship!" She yelled at him. "He's a stowaway...." "Bess," the medic put his hands on her shoulder, "Calm down, there are patients recuperating here." Crap, Yuuta had been found out, the closet doors just had to be open. "So that's why the bandages were unrolled..." the medic muttered, "I'm Lio but most of the crew call me Doc." He introduced himself as if Yuuta wasn't a stowaway. "My name is...Yuu," he decided not to tag on the last 'ta' to his name, anyone would know he was a Captain if he did. Besides, it wasn't a total lie when his sister called him Yuu all the time. His sister was the only woman he was comfortable with. "Forgot your name for a second?" Lio asked, beckoning him over, "Let's see what Cap'n Bess has done to your arm...by the by Bess, you should drink a bit of water and eat something if you're going to drink rum." Bess growled. "What, I'm not captian of my own ship now...." She gave up. "Yes, Doc, darling..." She was in a foul mood. "I know how to take care of myself, I have been for 8 years now. "It's not like we can just throw him off ship, you know I won't allow that Bess. Neither will I allow leaving him stranded on an island," the medic glanced at Yuuta, "You seem to know a bit of fighting to be able to get away from Bess with only this," he ran a hand along the bandages that Yuuta put. He had to admit the work was quite good for someone untrained. "He might serve as a good crew member? Take him as a pirate?" It was common to kidnap ordinary people and force them to go pirate. Yuuta glanced around, did he have no say in if he wanted to be a pirate? Though, in such circumstances he didn't have a choice not to say anything. Bess walked around them. She never had liked drowning her victims…it was how her parents had gone, pushed overboard by the crew that now served her. Marooning was not good as well, she hated that. “Well…I do admit your good in a fight, and the Doc is right.” She smiled at Lio, a kind smile. “Alright…since we certainly can’t take you back to your town, they’d kill us on spot, wouldn’t be good now, not after the speech I gave. Follow me Yuu, I’ll see you to your cabin….and give you orders as well. Oh and Lio…” She paused for a minute, waiting for his reply. Lio was going about his business, but froze at his name. Bess was known to be pretty cruel herself when it came to punishment, but Lio had defied her like it was nothing, "Yes, Bess?" He also took note that she called him Lio this time, not Doc. Yuuta watched for a moment, he'd be able to get some information on them so that next time he wouldn't arouse any anger from either of them. She smiled at him. “Thank you for taking care of my men, I appreciate it. Now come along Yuu, make sure you thank the doctor for bandaging up your wound, and not to mention saving your petty little life.” She told him. Both body and mind can melt together In eternal paradise. Dance in ecstasy, And cry black tears. Aah...beautiful...
