This is the journal entry wherein Saku learns the G6 and Cadd9 chords after sooo freaking long. D<
I've always liked You Were Meant For Me, but it doesn't necessarily show the individual picking. It's all chords, and I like it just fine, but I do kind of wish I could just learn the individual picking.
It's a little hard to sing this song while playing it because of the difference in the rhythm between the sung melody and the played melody. XD
I can pull it off for about three lines and then I ******** up somewhere (singing). XD
I'm actually finding switching between the chords kind of on the easy side, but that's probably just because I've figured out how to minimize my movement so it's less confusing.
Even so, there is no ******** way in hell I would have been able to switch from Cadd9 to C when I first got this guitar. XD I've really grown and bettered my abilities over the past year...

It's Hailie's birthday. =D
Cute baby bugger was born May 4th. Grandma was SO pushing for a May 5th birthday (Mexican holiday for those confused as to why. It's like having a baby due in December and your mom hoping your kid will be born christmas day or something. It's a holiday thing. ).
We'll be heading out in what I hope to be a few minutes, but in the mean time I'm typing this and practicing YWMFM. ^-^
