We used to think we had the world cradled in our hands
As time slipped by us, we suddenly lost all control
Theres an easy way about you that makes everything okay
And that simple charm you use can melt a frigid heart
You could cross your eyes forever and still be beautiful
But you've got the sense of self destruction hidden

There were times I bit my tongue until it was bright blue
