Well, happily home and glad for not having to deal with kids and sharing beds anymore. exhale Also, after reading last week's chapter of Naruto, I'm insanely disappointed that there will not be a chapter this week. This is more wrong than when an episode cuts off with Naruto transforming into the Kyuubi. You could have guessed by the way Itachi acted that it wasn't entirely him. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if he'd had a hand in killing any of them, and the way he told Sasuke to obtain the Mangekyo was wrong. If witnessing the death of your best friend is enough, I'd wager that Madara did it all and had Itachi watch. How else could he have come out of the massacre not soaked in blood? Unless he took a shower and changed his ANBU outfit. So like I said, I think Itachi did all of the go-to-Akatsuki thing to keep something from happening in Konoha. Possibly war, even... I doubt it had anything to do with Kyuubi, unless Madara has control over it even in Naruto's body. Or unless he still has the evil side of Kyuubi sealed away somewhere, which seems to be entirely possible, seeing that the man should be dead in the first place. I'd have to say it's something about the eyes stolen from his brother that gives him more than eternal SIGHT. Anyway... done ranting on that for now.
