Well, only for as long as it's buggin' you. XD
In this case, my thumb got sliced along the inside of the tip (which suckinates, thank you. ) when I tried to take the top off a sodie drink from some fast food place... the good thing is that for the most part I can still just that finger to strum, but of course the bad thing is that due to the loose skin around the healing area, if it gets caught on anything:
Instant Karma.
(I KNOW there's a song by that name... I'm SURE of it... I can't remember who wrote/performed it, but that way of saying it sure fits the nagging flash of pain I feel. )
So it turns out that Ride On Shooting Star is actually a LOT easier to play than I imagined. O.o
Either the song really is that easy or I'm getting a lot better at this playing guitar thing...
And seeing as I was finally able to play the intro to Don't Fear (The Reaper) by the Blue Oyster Cult with some decent speed, I'm going to go with "Congratulations! All that practice over the months worked! You're getting better! X3"
Maaade of wiiiin... =D
Now I just need to find a way to play that chorus bit from STill Alive (Portal's ending theme song. =D )... if only I could find the right chords. -.0
