A Conveyor of Words
A conveyor of words, Which doesn't seem much, But with these things I say I try to touch Your heart and soul, Your mind and life, To ease your pains, Your trouble and strife. If the things I write Bring a tear to your eye, Then I'll try harder, But ask you why Your life is different, Your habits are old. My life is changing, I may be too bold. If I make you laugh, Or I make you cry, Then I've answered your question, You now know why I've touched your soul And I'll continue to try.
This is one of those poems that really makes you think about yourself. My father wrote this many years ago, along with many other great works. Why he never sent them to be published, I have no idea.
