I doubt that'll work. And here's why:

1. The computer needs a permanent section for software and hardware that have been installed onto your computer, hence the c: drive. The c: drive is default area for programs, and give the computer easy access to those programs. A thumb drive won't always be connected to your computer, messing up the program that was installed onto it. And since the computer will have it installed, while it is on the thumb drive i can only guess that any removal of the thumb drive after installation will fuc- up your computer as it will try to search for a program that isn't there when you turn it on.

But, I may be wrong, i only took computers for a year and a semester in 7th grade.

I might as well divide by zero while I'm at it. Though We'll see how it goes.
