I am sure many of you pplz have seen or heard of or even had a near death experience once in your life. Me? Heh. I lost count. The one I remeber most was when I got run over. It was, I'd say, about 2 years back. I was living with my grandmother on her property in the woods in Keystone Hghts. She has many 4-wheelers and horses and such. Also, the most awesome and longest trail ever O.o Anyway, I didnt like the back, so I sat at the front. Not in front of the driver, either. My uncle and I sat in front of the steering station. I felt the cool breeze sweeping across my face and the sound of the engine with trees swishing by. Suddenly, I didn't even realize, I was thrown off the vehicle due to the fact it had rained just moments earlier, it was bumpy, and Julie(grandma) tried to manuver through it. Before I could blink, I was beneath the monsterous machine that had a wheel on each of my legs. Out of no where, after the dead silence, as Im lay there, staring at the machine's underbelly, I started to laugh. I laughed and got up and looked at Julie, Zack (uncle), and Alyssa. They looked at me like I was insane. Suddenly, Zack joined in, as did alyssa. Julie was in shockm for a moment, then she joined too. I don't know why, but until I got home, I didn't even notice the track marcks on my legs. I am not done! A few DAYS after the "horrifying" incedent, I was outside of the horses' stall. Kisses and baby were Julie's 2 horses. Whenever they were together....let's just say they aren't exactly safe. Well, we all wanted to ride Kisses and I had finaly gotten used to doing so. So, Julie asked if we wanted to ride her. "I do, I'm going first!" I said with excitment. When Zack said, "No! I'm going first" The ignorant snob ALWAYS got his way. But, when Julie anounced, "Okay. Go in there and you can ride in the pin" everyione froze. The pin. With baby. NEVER a good idea. "Go ahead, Zack. You wanted to gom first" I nudged him. "nope. You said it first! Go ahead." Ugh! That just gets me poed! Whatever. So, Juliegets me up, and lets me go. I ride around fine; til baby spots us. As soon as she gets over, she causes a rucus. The horses got jealous easily. Baby nipped Kisses. Kisses flipped out. She ran like crazy. It all happened so fast. Suddenly, I am on the ground, the wind is knocked out of me. I can barely breathe...With whatever breathe I had left, though, I managed to wale, "MOM!!!!!!!" She ran out, cursing at her mother. I didn't understand due to the massive pain. But she was cusing up a storm. I sat in the car, my guts wanting to just jump out of my stomach, through my throat, and out my mouth. When we got home, Julie called an ambulence...suddenly, I grabbed an pple and ate away. By the time the paramedics got there, I was up and eating what was once an apple. "I'm fine" I insisted. Julie keot nagging me to lay down. But, I just felt...alive. Isn't it wierd how near death can bring you to feeling more alive than before? I do. I did 5,000 times I think. I don't know honostly. I guess that will remain a mystery. As well as the mystery of when it's going to be a not-so-near-death experience. The mystery of when I WON'T be so lucky....
