It was pretty interesting. =] I watched Stephen King movies and handed out candy all night.
We didn't get many trick-or-treaters at our house. It kind of sucked, but I'm not complaining too much. I have a HUGE back of candy now. Whoot. XD

I even made up costumes for the cats this year, without really dressing them, mind you. Since they wanted to participate in all the fun too.
Squish was a cow (because of his fur color), and Kilala was a witch's familiar. She was supposed to be my mom's familiar, because my mom was going to dress up as a witch. But she didn't. D: So she was my familiar for the night... even though I was a gypsy, not a witch.
>_>
Kilala sat in the window staring at everyone all creepy-like. And Squish... he stalked the little kids when they came to the door. XD It was hilarious.
He was all like "I'm dressed up tooooo! Don't I get candy? Come Ooooooon!".

Our decorations were kick-a**. We have these old stretchers that we found in the attic when we moved in. Well, we took one of those and propped it against my dad's SUV. Then we took some of his clothes, stuffed them, and made a fake body.
After that, we covered it with ketchup, and made it look like his head was lopped off. It was great. Of course the whole time we did this, Squish was stalking around and trying to eat the "blood". Goober.

And of course, the few kids that we got were fun. My favorite was a little four-year-old boy. I think he was dressed up as one of the Cars characters. I'm guessing it was his first time trick-or-treating, judging by how excited he was. He insisted on showing me a bunch of M&M's that he got from a previous house. It was kind of cute.
My other favorite was another kid, maybe a year older than the other. He was dressed up as a dragon... or maybe a dinosaur. He couldn't decide.
We asked him, and all we got was a happy little "I dunno!". X3
I thought he looked more like a dragon, personally.
