You know what? I can't wait until I graduate. Get the hell out of my crappy backwards school, and into college. Where I could wear my damn pajamas to class and no one would give a s**t. =o (and carry my coffee with me instead of having to chug it down at home... but that's another story entirely >_> wink .
I'm sick of all this dress code drama. They need to pull some sticks out of their asses, and quit taking this out on the students just because they didn't get their silly little uniforms.
I'll worry about tucking my shirts in when I'm being paid to stand around with my shirt tucked in. When I have a job that requires it. Right now, I'm in high school. And what's that stuff they're always telling us again? That we're there to learn, and not worry about how we look? So what's up with all of this "tuck your shirts in, don't let your pants drag on the ground" BS? What happened to not worrying about it? =o And shouldn't they have the teachers worry about, you know, teaching us... and not worrying about how the hell we look?
Nobody is stupid enough to walk around this school looking like a damn slut. Kids here actually have more sense than that. So why is it being made into such a big deal?
And what the hell is it about having a wad of T-shirt uncomfortably stuffed down my pants, that's going to help me pay attention anyway? D:< If anything, that's going to make it harder.

Yeah, in case you haven't already figured it out... I hate tucking my shirts in. HATE IT. For as long as I remember, I've never been able to keep a shirt tucked in for more than about five minutes, before I get really irritated and untuck it. D: It's more about how it feels than how it looks. That's just a little more fabric down there than I really need. I find it downright uncomfortable. I don't care how "professional" it looks.
And, I will admit, I also don't really like the way it looks.
And unfortunatly, it's become a big issue at school. I got over my dress code peeves from last year. I could handle it. But then they decided to go and pull this s**t. For at least a week or two (hopefully my school will calm the hell down by then), I have to wear my shirts tucked in.
And it's going to annoy the living crap out of me. Like it always has.
