Throughout what I have dubbed the Tales of Zegwar a reader will encounter three worlds. But you will come into contact with other planes, which aren’t technically worlds.
Zegwar The first world is of course, Zegwar itself. Zegwar is the hub of the stories. It’s a magical world and is basically your average mythical reality. It’s got a couple of countries, Zegwar being the largest and the name of the world. To the north are the shadow lands, where the demons live, separating the country in half are the classical Dark Woods, where other creatures live. The Magical Floating Island of Faziu, is where fairies live. There are all sorts of creatures like dragons and unicorns. It has a few unique creatures that I created. One is the Trikt, a violent race easily identified by their blue skin and hair. Another one is the Kinwa. The Kinwa are the magical forms of the Great Mages, which they use to fight evil Kinwas and powerful demons. The history of Zegwar really only goes back to the time of the Founders, stuff happened prior to that but nothing worth reporting. It started with a powerful wizard called Lintu who created a powerful Scepter, called the Scepter of Zegwar. When he was corrupted by the power the Great Mages were born to stop him. They were not able to kill him but only lock him away in the Shadow Realm. They were able to separate the Scepter from him and hid it away. When Lintu broke out the Founders were reincarnated, this time killing him. Zegwar has, since the time of Citla and the Founders, been ruled by the Karen family. During the time of Kita Karen, her father had been corrupted by Lintu and was terrorizing the country until her sister killed him.
Rawgez The second world that you’ll encounter is Rawgez, this world is the mirror image of Zegwar. Everything there is exactly the same as it is on Zegwar, only with polar opposite morals. That means that everything that is good on Zegwar is evil on Rawgez and everything that is evil on Zegwar is good on Rawgez. The landscape’s a little different too. Instead of being a large continent it’s a series of rather oddly shaped islands, including one that is completely underwater. It has more demons that Zegwar and there is essentially no government. It is a darker version of Zegwar where most of the magical creatures that were free on Zegwar have been nearly whipped out by the demons. Oppositely the mermaids that were persecuted on Zegwar thrive in their underwater world on Rawgez.
Earth The third and final world you’ll encounter is modern day Earth, technically sometimes is past and future Earth. My version of Earth has a whole magical society hidden underneath it. From various magical organizations to scattered throughout the globe, protecting it in secret since the dawn of time. The great war between good and evil being fought in the dark of night, barely surviving without the world ever knowing. The magicals taught themselves and each other how to do it. This is distinctly different from Zegwar and Rawgez where magic is honored and free. On Earth it’s a secret, a burden. Things like the Salem Witch Trials have forced the world’s protectors to hide from their very world.
The Shadow Realm The Shadow Realm is a plane of existence, not a world. It is beyond physical and it is the origin of the demons. While I never explain it’s origins I do tell you that the first demons came from this place, just like how Kit busted out hell they fled from the Shadow Realm into the various worlds to reek terror and magicals stood up to stop them. They were eventually able to close the portals that they used to get here but the damage that was already done. There were too many demons to kill and they began to spread and grow in numbers. Now they are as much a part of the worlds they come from as the magicals who fight them. Few of the original, Ancient demons.
The Realm of The Powers That Be / The White Room This is where the Powers That Be reside. When they want to have seriously private conversation they pull people to this place. Kit calls it the White Room because it is nothing but pure white, the opposite of the darkness of the Shadow Realm. It’s the only way to direct contact a person in another reality.
Toshadow Toshadow is the Realm between all Realm, designed sort of like Swiss Cheese is contains all that is. To get to another world you have to through it, but that’s not recommended seeing as there are few who can do it safely. Those who can are called the Guardians of Toshadow and they are forbidden to do so. It is the greatest magical taboo for a guardian to open the Gates of Toshadow.
Sicagosta Roads Invisible roads that span all worlds, can be used as shortcuts as while one them you can get half way around the world in a few minutes. But it is never to be recommended seeing as it is haunted by many vicious creatures and spirits that will in fact to tear any traveler limb from limb.
Astral Plane Your basic astral plane, when anyone not as powerful as, say Kit, ends up here when they astral project their consciousnesses from their bodies. But someone as powerful as Kit can break through the barrier and reappear on this plane.
