"Puppet"((poem))

The master controls the boy with his finger tips alone

He makes you sad,he makes you smile

That puppeteer creates your story and ideas

All you can do is nothing and bend to his every whim

He gave you a purpose with your motionless body

Though you obey you dream of freedom

Time passes by as the puppet master ages, yet you remain unaltered

Through his lifetime your master will hand you down the line

So forget your absurd fantasy

For now and ever you are a doll

Not really sure what this poem is about.

"All you can do is nothing and bend to his every whim."
That sentence is contradictory. Two possible options could be changing "and" to "but" or changing "nothing" to something like "submit"
"All you can do is nothing but bend to his every whim."
    -or-
"All you can do is submit and bend to his every whim."
Something along those lines might be nice.

The next line is a little strange as well. I think 'with' sounds strange in this situation. I feel like maybe a better word choice would be 'for'.
Maybe even something like "He gave a purpose to your motionless body"

"Through his lifetime your master will hand you down the line."
In this sentence, it sounds like the 'master' is going to be passing off the 'puppet' many different times. I'm thinking maybe it should be that through the 'puppet's lifetime, he will be passed down?
Unless I'm still totally missing the meaning of this poem. You could be saying that the 'master' will continually put other things before the 'puppet'.

I think maybe just look at some different word choices and positions and the meaning of the poem would become a lot clearer.
