Mysterious Deaths
Monday, October first, 2000
Finally, October is here! Halloween is coming and I also get to go to my new school, although it might be late in the year they still accepted me. Salem isn’t what I expected it to be, it is much much better! They reenact the Salem Witch Trials and everything, though hey don’t reenact the hangings or burnings, that was kinda disappointing. It’s strange though, there’s this black cat with really blue eyes that follows me and every time I see it something bad happens. The last time I saw it, a school bus crashed and all the kids in it died, but I don’t feel sad, is that weird or what!? Another weird thing is that before I see the cat I see this weird old man, but for some reason, only I can see him. Anyway, my first day at school begins tomorrow, I’ll write in ya after school, bye!
Tuesday, October 2nd, 2000
Oh my goodness! I think I’m in love, there is this guy called Renton Rutherford and he is sooo cute! He was nice to me and everything, I made a friend on my first day but I really like him…I dunno if I should tell him or not. Well, I’ll just wait and see if he likes me first, oh, I must tell you about his eyes, they are weird and they are like mine, he has slits instead of pupils to! I wonder if….nah….I don’t think he could be a Lu Garu to. I guess I’ll have to find out the old fashioned way, pricking his finger and see if his eyes turn yellow. You know what, I’ll just leave him alone with that kind of stuff. Well, it’s getting late, I’ll write tomorrow.
Wednesday, October 3rd, 2000
……I saw the black cat again today and something really bad happened, our pack leader was killed by a mysterious illness, no one knows what it was, and since the pack leader was my father, it is my turn to take over the pack! I am only 15 so how in the world am I supposed to lead them! I am so confused, I need someone to talk to about this. I think maybe I should ask Renton, he said he was really interested in Lu Garu and stuff. Well. I am off to bed, I’ll write tomorrow..
Thursday, October 4th, 2000
Guess what? Renton is a Lu Garu to! He said he will be there for me no matter what! He also asked me out on a date, he said he’ll pick me up Friday at 8:00, ooo, I can’t wait! I am really excited but really sad….my mom is getting sick and I’m really worried, she said that she’ll be fine and just go on my date…If I see that black cat again, I am afraid of what might happen, I must go, I’ll write soon…

Oh my goodness! The date went awesome! I even…hehehe…got my first kiss, but…something worries me but I don’t know what, anyway, guess what? The Thirteenth Moon is on Halloween! Woot! I feel like singing…and crying….the man, I keep seeing he said something really freaky, he said “A new Destiny Awaits you, Daughter of Bast..” daughter of Bast…wait..isn’t that the Egyptian cat god? There is no way I am the daughter of a god, that’s just crazy….I have to go to bed, ill right soon, night-night…
Saturday, October 6th, 2000
Something’s really wrong here, Renton, he has been trying to protect me from something but I just don’t know what, I’m so scared, last night I had a dream that I was in this maze thingy and the man was leading me through strange doors with creepy looking creatures carved in them, oh and I had huge black cat hears and a long black cat tail! There is something going on, I wanna know what and I wanna know now…I have also been craving fish…especially salmon…freaky, I also acquired the ability to climb, really good to. Another strange thing is that, I’m always having the feeling of De Javu when I’m around this really old tree, the locals call it the “Tree of Sorrow”, the legend has it that one day, a witch of immense power hung herself because she had a broken heart, no one knows why she had a broken heart. There are a lot of legends here, to many remind me of something I once knew, I just don’t know what. I must got to bed, darn mom! I’ll write in you tomorrow.

Um…I dunno if I can do this anymore! I am tired of all these secrets and stuff, it’s getting annoying! NYA! Renton is getting more and more fidgety to, he keeps looking over his shoulder and stuff! The man talked to me again and said “On all Hallows Eve, when the clock strikes midnight, you will know you’re true Destiny..” that was so weird! Halloween….the creepiest time of the year, I must go, ill write soon….
