I got to spin the wheel twice. XD
The first time was free, the second time I got a ticket for either donating to or buying something from Gaia. XD
(Gweeee... they had tentacles and I wanted to buy them, but I thought "How am I going to explain them to my mother?" I figured it would be best if I just never had to explain them. Where the hell else was I going to wear them other than the con/s, anyway? XD >.< wink
The first time was free because I joined in on a trivia contest thing. Didn't get either question right, but I still got a free spin, so I'm good. XD
I crushed on this dude from my first day at the con onward (saturday through monday basically). He was sitting right in front of me during the Gaia panel, and in my head I went "OMFG, HE'S GORGEOUS! O_O;"
XD Obviously, I was far too shy to initiate any kind of conversation with him, but I literally had him in my sights at least once for every day that I was at the con. @_@; First time was, of course, the Gaia panel, second time was in Karaoke-that one made me feel weird, since I was planning on singing. @_@-and the third time was today (yesterday?) in the line for my second turn at the wheel. XD I was talking with a girl whose user name is Malocide, or something to that effect. She dressed up as a Gaia zombie. X3 Awesomeness. X3 and he was in line a few people behind us. @_@; I remember seeing him walking out and about at least two other times, though, so it makes me wonder if some higher force is smacking it's head right now, going "OH MY ******** GOD, HOW MANY ******** CHANCES DO WE NEED TO GIVE YOU BEFORE YOU GET THE GODDAMN, ******** HINT AND TAKE SOME GODDAMN INITIATIVE!?"
sweatdrop To those 'higher forces' I say:... I'm sorry. I thought he was majorly cute. *sweatdrop* Very pretty. XD So therefore, by default, I was just too shy to start a conversation with him. I have never seen him with his mouth open, though, not even when around people that seemed to be friends. @_@ Silent type? @_@; )
I also sang Karaoke twice. The first night (Actually, I sang Karaoke twice in the same day, if I think about it this way. @_@) I sang Be My Last at like three in the morning on Sunday morning. XD Now, on Sunday afterNOON... XD I sang The Workout-ALSO by the lovely and talented, my beloved Utada Hikaru. X3
According to random audience members, in spite of my lack of confidence in my singing initially, I actually sounded great. @_@;
Is this a bit like that disorder where people think they're fatter than they actually are because they psychologically will not allow themselves to see themselves as fitting society's standards because they don't even fit their own-they're just so unhappy, and their bodies aren't the real problem... until they're killing themselves with anorexia and bulemia. @_@;
Only in my case, I kill my throat trying to sound as good as I think I can be. @_@;
The first night was insanely weird and fun, though. XD
After I sang, three more people sang songs by Utada. XD I was like "Holy s**t, I canNOT miss this! XD"
So I watched them, getting antsier by the second because it was already late two o clock and getting to be three.
When a guy who wasn't singing a Utada song came on, I ran out with the intention of walking back to the hotel when I noticed that Nescaflowne was playing, and it was near enough to the beginning. I was not going to miss it, so I watched it and LAWLED. I laughed my a** off. XD Especially since I got more of the jokes this time around. XD I had already gotten some of them, but more of them just click because I know more referrences now than I did last year or two years ago. XD)
I was spending a lot of time in the gaming room, though, royally owning guys who thought I'd be an Easy player. The reactions they each had was the essentially the same when they asked me the same question. XD
"Alright, so what level do you play?"
"Uh, I'm an Expert. n_n"
"... O___O;"
Their VERBAL responses varied from phrases such as "Uhh, I'm still just on Medium..."
to "Oh, I can do hard, but not Expert,"
to my very favorite (because it was so damned rare!): "Oh nice! I do Expert too!"
Me: "THIS WILL BE FUN! =D"
When I heard that these certain dudes could play Expert, I just wanted to play a round of Co-Op with them instead of playing against them and inevitably PWNing them. I did not wish to PWN them. I wished to play with theeem. DX
Buuuut, oh weeell. X3
I had fuuuun! X3
I also talked with Ani! I know he saw The Chii once or twice, but I don't know if he managed to get a picture of her or not. XD
I did talk with him, but I can't remember for the life of me whether or not I revealed myself as actually being THE Saku, second maiden of Kamikaze. XD
Then again, he saw the pencil/ink drawing of Chii that I was inking during the autograph session on Sunday since we were sitting right up front to the side. XD
I know you did, Ani! XD
Plus I must have called him Ani once or twice. >.>;
I'm sure he would have been smart enough to realize that only one person actually calls him Ani, and that's me. >.>; XD
On Sunday night/Monday morning (it was three in the morning, guuys. XD) I was leaving the game room, fully intending to get back to the hotel because it was so gosh-darned late, and I saw like four guys in a circle, three either singing or dancing or laughing along, while the fourth skillfully played this beautiful black and silver guitar that might have been some kind of Les Paul. @_@; Course, I can only guess. One horn higher than the other... blah. Anyway... I decided to sit down with them and listen, and we wound up jamming on the floor of the main hall of the con. XD
The last song I sang with the semi-cute but completely awesome asian guitarist dude was Hotel California because it was the only song I could remember by heart at three in the morning when I had a pounding head, and a very short memory. XD

I also sang Sweet Child O' Mine for them while awesome guitarist dude played. XD
I started to sing Don't Speak when I realized guitarist dude had started randomly playing the opening notes. XD He stopped a few more seconds in, though. u.u
I wanted him to keep playing. DX It sounded beautiful! DX
Oh well! I had great fun either way. X3
