Devil Armz
Suddenly, an azure streak so brilliant it’s nearly white parts the heavens. It carves a path to the ground, and in its wake stands a man at 5’6”; approximately 160lbs. His athletic frame is well toned, the result of extreme discipline drilled into mind, body, and spirit over a few decades of committed training. High above the clouds and thick blankets of smoke, red sprites occupy the upper atmosphere over the point where his lightning had struck. The cold plasma thriving in the expanse pockets of nitrogen produced by the volcanic activity in the region.
It doesn’t take long before the smell of melting soles alerts him to the face that the area is too hot for him to stand in his shoes apparently. He sighs, shaking his head dismissively as his almond shaped charcoal eyes scan the terrain. His left-hand scratches at the back of his head, the right clutching the haft of his halberd about the middle of its length. The heavier blade hangs slightly angled towards the ground with the put positioned about elbow height where it extends behind him. To his left hip secured by belt is unmistakably a katana of some design, an eighteen-inch rod with tapered points secured on the opposite side.
Lifting one foot at a time he pries his ruined shoes off, and he tosses them haphazardly aside as they come off. As each foot grows bare, he returns it to the charred terrain of cooling lava unperturbed. It would take a lot more than extreme temperatures to compromise him.
He knows not who calls him out nor why, though the Slayer doesn’t take kindly to open threats. Willingly he meets whomever on their terms, forgoing his full regalia considering their designation in the name of vanquishing the likes of daemons; any comparable monsters as far as he’s concerned. Unlike his predecessor, he doesn’t discriminate against the monsters of mankind. If his opponent proved to be a good person, he’d spare them. Otherwise, he’d feel no remorse over their abrupt conclusion.
Regardless, he doesn’t anticipate the battle will last long once his opponent arrives and the formalities have come to pass. In his experience, win or lose, the best fights never lasted quite as long. Unless he had the pleasure of sparing his Master of course. As he awaits the reveal of his adversary, The Merle Knight proceeds to stretch. He maneuvers his halberd, switching hands as necessary. Dressed in a black, skin tight tee and a pair of black harem pants, he hardly appears equipped for the terrain, let alone a bout threatening enough to weigh against his life.
From deep within his lower Tanden (Dantian), the Raiju bellows its thunderous roars throughout his psyche in anticipation; ever excited by the prospect of their expressions via actual combat as opposed to pettier training and spars. His free, open fist folds approximately over his naval, and he rubs his belly reassuringly. As if to be soothed.
Zeo towered over the world around him like a mountain, with each step the ground cracked beneath his feet his hair grey but not from age glowed in the darkness.
He wore an cloak in the colors of white and orange exhibiting intricate symbols and unique unusual colors that danced as if they contained life within them , with gold links on his wrists, black baggy low waisted utility trousers, his ankles had similar gold links to his wrists, he wore no footwear because there was no need.
The massive man continued on his path until he came across a lake of lava, a circular foothold immediately arrived for him to step on and be carried to the nearest land mass. A loud crackling sound rang out, Zeo lifted his head nonchalantly to witness his opponent’s grand arrival. Impressive. In between the slow moving dark clouds Zeo watched as the sun centered itself above the opening of the volcano its radiant heat offered him vitality and energy. The Moon arrived shortly after incredibly close to the Sun, the beginning stages of a Solar eclipse! The Moon offered Zeo gifts of its own.
The clouds in the sky swirled around the Sun and the Moon creating a beautiful visual. The ones from the Heavens were watching this bout, they were interested to see the champion! This would surely be interesting. Though he had no doubts in his mind that he would be the victor, as with everything else. Zeo thought this to be just another test from the Gods that he would surely pass with ease. Just as he did all the others.
Reaching the top of Volcano took no time, he moved to the edge looking down to see his opponent rubbing his stomach to soothe himself. Zeo looked down at his opponent allowing his golden eyes to pierce through the darkness, his glowing hair alerted his opponent to his location. He wasn’t hiding after all.
Raising his right arm from underneath his cloak revealed a metallic limb. Only three fingers raised his index, middle and thumb, he twisted them and simultaneously the sun and moon switched places. An apparent show of power for his opponent. Concealing his arm beneath the cloak once more he stepped off the edge of the volcano. Free falling for a few mere seconds Zeo landed on his feet with a slight bend of the knee, the earth beneath his cracked and broke off from the main foothold beneath their feet. Cracks began to run along the rest of the foothold as he got a good look at his opponent for the first time.
”I am Zeo, Son of Oiz and Lyria. My purpose here is to defeat you.” He stood up straight to reveal his height he towered over his opponent by more than a few feet before he gave a respectful Olzarin Greeting which was similar to a bowing motion. ”Do not hold back. Revealing his right arm once more he gripped the fabric of his cloak tearing it off then casting it into the lava revealing his physical body and dual metallic arms. There was more to come, more to show but for now this was enough

He sensed the man well before her came into view, peering up at him just before the additional alert was afforded unto him, and after the shifting of celestial bodies sans the effects such a feat would wreak on the world itself. From the metal of his limb to any armor and weapons, Jinsoku could sense it all clearly given his electric affinity. Again, the opponent lands heavily, cracking the scorched earth his strength uncontrolled; indiscriminate.
”I’m Ser Jinsoku Hayabusa. Second of James Eredas of the Order of Force Majeure,” he says, a lilt of arrogance on his voice despite his Master’s sincerest warnings.
His opponent tears away their cloak, casting it to a local lava pool. Jinsoku by contrast remains unmoved and unimpressed. No stance, no guard, no subtle activation of his Dao nor Yoki. He affords Zeo a crooked, wry grin as his charcoal eyes narrow sharply on him.
”Good luck,” he says coyly.
’No kings, no gods, only man.’ he muses, remaining poised. He’d wait a moment longer for his would-be opponent to commence. He grows restless awaiting Zeo, enough so that he lifts his left, open fist and effectively signals with the back of it. He folds and extends his fingers repetitiously, taunting Zeo. Bring it.

”So smug…”
Zeo spoke bringing his hands up to his chin forcing his chin to the left until the cracking sound echoed within the confines of the volcano. He glanced at his cloak ensuring it had been completely engulfed by the lava. Starting at his feet he traced each crack to their ends
“Good luck,”
He was arrogant. The ‘bring it on’ motion made Zeo chuckle. Hopefully he could back this level of confidence up otherwise his bravado would be an embarrassment. Zeo’s foot crashed into the ground! The sheer power of his stomp traveled through surrounding area causing the cracks within the footholds to deepen significantly! The Lava beneath the foothold formed a wave propelling toward Jinsoku. The earth above the lava curved around the wave picking up speed as it neared Jinsoku. Zeo crouched low into a a fighting stance that bolstered his raw power and animalistic instincts.
”How long will it last?”
Zeo’s fingers dug into the Earth, getting lower to the ground his knees bent prepared to launch him into the enemy. If Jinsoku went up he’d meet him there to tear his spine from his flesh.

He furrows a brow, still grinning, and a chortle escapes him as he watches the lurching wave encroach. Even as it picks up speed, it remains a fraction in the lower echelon of his own prowess. As for the temperature, it was hot, though it pales in comparison to the heat experienced via his affinity. Lightning. His lower Tanden opens, allowing the Raiju's illustrious Yoki to flow through him, and his charcoal eyes become a blue so brilliant it's nearly white.
”Ganbare,” he mussitates to his opponent likely unheard.
He crouches, leaning towards the approaching wave as if preparing to tackle it. The moment the wave breaks their line of sight with one another, Jinsoku remains aware of Zeo passively through the varying degrees of electromagnetic pulses twixt himself and the environment. He kicks off the cracked, charred earth with muscle control so precise all his force is packed into propelling him forward without wasting energy in translation. Not only does he maneuver several dozens of times over the sound barrier, producing shockwaves around him as he travels, but he also leaves a generous afterimage where he previously stood.
Whether Zeo can keep up with or react to speeds greater than 200,000 mph, Jinsoku pierces the wave; his shockwaves parting it unnecessarily in a span no greater than his toroid. Concomitantly he raises his polearm overhead, and as he breaches striking range he lands while thrusting his halberd for Zeo’s lowered torso. By the time he slows enough to compliment typical human thought and perception (50-100 milliseconds), Zeo would be impaled, and hoisted disrespectfully off the ground; extended over Jinsoku’s head where he’d still be grinning arrogantly as he looks up at him with a narrow gaze.
The force behind the blow is one generously over 65 billion pounds of force, exponentially compounded five times because of its alien composition, which translates to a whopping 325 billion pounds of force threatening Zeo. All focused behind the top spike of the halberd with its traditional head facing Jin’s left, the back spike pointing to his right. He twists into the strike, keeping his left fist open though positioned in a half guard.
Zeo's greatest warning was the disturbance to the wave of lava, though to see his afterimage on the other side may beg that he still idles there; it merely depends on Zeo's senses, closely followed by his speed and agility. Despite his aversion to taking life, his opponent's bloodlust is nearly palpable. Had he been merely a man by standard definition, he'd be dead already. Though unfortunately for Zeo this wasn't the case. As he strikes, the Raiju bellows throughout his psyche aggressively anticipating a challenge; though Jinsoku remains unconvinced.
Quote:
The Dao -
Through years of rigorous training and daunting experiences, Jinsoku has moderate mastery over his Dao (Qi/Ki/Chi). He is capable of expressing his life force in a myriad of applications including but not limited to enhancing physical prowess and/or acceleration of his healing.
His lower Tanden is inhabited by a Yōkai known as a Raiju. This wolf like, divine spirit has hollowed the Tanden out and firmly planted itself within. In exchange for devouring his Dao, the Raiju in return helps preserve its host by granting them access to its Yoki, and the abilities that come with it. In this case, Jinsoku has been gifted with a wide range of thunder and lightning based capabilities that he naturally would never have acquired on his own.
Quote:
Shōshin (Halberd*) - This beautifully crafted polearm was made specifically for Jinsoku. It measures approximately five and a half feet, giving it the same height as its wielder. The portions of blade, spike, and hook respectively are composed of Starmetal, a rare mineral known to increases the kinetic energy of a weapons strike five times over. The handle is composed mainly of steel making the weapon a decent, natural conductor. Like all of Jin's weapons, it is also imbued to resist extreme heat.
BGM: Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 - Edge Of Spirit
Jinsoku’s blitz attempt was laughable at best. Though Jinsoku had proved himself to capable. Perhaps he could have a bit of fun here. Zeo couldn’t help but crack a small smile as he contained his excitement. Surely within that puny body there was more power to be released! Zeo stay completely still as Jinsoku rushed him because to dodge an attack like this was… beneath him.
The halberd sliced into his torso with precision combined with a great power source behind it. This wasn’t entirely human. Zeo’s hot blood splattered unto Jinsoku’s chest and shoulder as the puny man peered at him from below. Zeo’s body went limp as his blood ran down the sides of the talberd ”This will be more fun than I thought.”. Steam began to escape from Zeo’s pores his body became lighter until there was nothing atop his Halberd. The Sun and moon simultaneously moved closer to one another getting closer to the total eclipse! The shockwave Jinsoku created blasted a large hole in the side of the volcano causing the lava and footholds to begin to leak out.
At the top of the Volcano Zeo stood peering down at Jinsoku still wearing his cloak that once had the lively intricate designs were now missing. The Moon’s gift of illusion had begun before Zeo had even entered the volcano. The second he’d exposed his metallic arm and shifted the celestial bodies was the moment nothing mattered. Having gauged his opponent somewhat Zeo removed the gold ankle bracelets that acted as limiters to his power and contained his bloodlust. Removing the limiters was a trade off, loss of control for more power, more access to his true capabilities, as long as the two on his wrist remained it wouldn’t be too much of an issue for Zeo. Dropping the gold anklets into the lava he walked down the side of the mountain as the volcano began to erupt!
The path to Jinsoku was covered in lava now, but it made no difference. The veins around Zeo’s eyes bulged as he pictured tearing Jinsoku’s intestines from his abdomen, perhaps that would finally wipe the smirk off his face. He crouched low once more, then sprang forward in a dashing line straight at Jinsoku, parting the lava itself as he pierced through faster than it could close behind him, leaving a growing wave trailing in his wake. In the blink of an eye, his metallic hand was inches from Jinsoku’s face, fingers curling, hungry to gouge his eyes out where he stood.
