The lights in the arena dim down as Ain't About the Money hits the PA.

Ahhhh, ahhhh
Ahhhh, ahhhh

blue and white lights begin to flash while a thin layer of smoke comes across the stage and down the ramp. Flames spring up along the set and the crowd begins to cheer

If you know like I know say
Ain't about the money, it's about the power (say)
Ain't about the money, it's about the power (you know like I know say)
Ain't about the money, it's about the power (say)
Ain't about the money, it's about the power

Finally the former World champion steps out into view and the cheers grow louder. There's a slight change in his attire. Instead of his usual vest, he's wearing a t-shirt with a dragon across it and the words Drakonian Empire across the top of it. Drako Damone looks out over the arena for several moments before starting to make his way down the ramp

Think about it, think about it
Ain't no need to think about it
Get that Money, keep that power
No they not the same thing
Money can be anybody
This somebody, that nobody
When it comes to power
Circle, super small and maintain
Money make em' do it cause of what you give to em'
Power make em' do it cause you told them to do it
Money make you fly, power never die, don't know why
Money can be lost, power never need an alibi
Blood thicker than the champagne
Power in my pride, power in my last name

"..ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the number one contender to the WWFG World Heavyweight championship, Drako Damone!!"

Drako stops at the end of the ramp and look around the arena for a few more moments before he turns and walks up the stairs and into the ring, moving to the center to stretch out right into his old pose. Pyro shoots off behind him, a nice flash to the past for him and he straightens up again

When I'm in your presence you can feel the power
Even if this company was built from powder
Girls, kissin, on the couch, women, in the, shower
Surround, myself with kings, you can keep the cowards
Everytime I reminisce, I'm reppin' different bitches
Blood is thicker than water but BS is the thickest
Let the chain round my neck tell my life story
Born into the money but would die for glory
Get ready for the takeover, that face, lip and makeover
That case, that I break open, that great fifth like Beethoven
If you, wanna get it poppin', I can be in the team
Thirty-four, in a, rocket cause Hakeem's the dream
(Get it? They don't get it)

The Soaring Dragon walks to the corner and steps up onto the second turnbuckle, covering his eyes to look out into the crowd of cheering fans.

Oooh, we're makin' moves
You're only doing what my power let you do
You see that money isn't everybody's thing
When it comes to power, can only be one king

Finally, Drako steps down and takes up a mic as his music finally cuts out.

"Now, it's been a minute since I've done any talking with a mic in my own hand in the middle of the ring, so tonight is as good a night as any to go ahead and address what's about to happen. Now, as the ring announcer so helpfully let everyone know, I am the number one contender to the World Heavyweight championship. At Survivor Series, Omen has to step in the ring and defend the title against the most dominant champion in history. But what does that mean to a guy like Omen?"

Drako begins to pace the ring.

"See, on paper, I'm at the disadvantage. He's big, he's powerful, he's been hospitalizing former world champions. He's dominating. Here I am, almost a year out from the last time I held the belt. Omen took out the guy that finally managed to beat me. I'd give kudos, but honestly, I'm not so impressed."

JR: Well, that's a bit surprising. But maybe the former champ sees something we don't.

King: Maybe Omen hit him too hard last show.

Drako leans on the ropes looking out towards the announcers. "Now, I heard that king. You're not exactly quiet over there. But it seems like you and everyone else need a little history refresher. Now, I could remind you of the list of names that I beat across the two times I was world champion. And because I'm me, I'll rattle off a few. Bad Boy, Salem Croft, Trent, Cartwright, Luca Leone, Cyrus Leone, Bison, Erynys Reich, and I took out Nuke Fusion. I was the main event on every show but the one I chose not to wrestle on. Last year at Unforgiven, I let my brother have his moment in the main event to do the last thing he'd left undone. I was here every show whether I was outnumber, had just been screwed over, had just done a ridiculous road trip in between shows or been back in the Den training. I did what real champions do. Keep that in mind because I'm coming back around to that point."

Drako focuses on JR and King again. "Do you two happen to remember years ago when Omen first came around? Do you remember his first shocking and major act here in the WWFG?"

JR: I do remember he had a run in with Drako's older brother.

King: Yeah, and it led to a no holds barred match at Wrestlemania.

Drako nods. "You got it partially right. What he actually did was he hung Jarel from his own Dragon symbol. The powers that be at the time didn't know if Jarel was going to make it to Wrestlemania. I daresay he finds that to be a source of pride. But after he hung my dear brother from the symbol, what happened? Anybody remember?"

JR: Weeks of bragging and bravado, I believe. Omen was convinced that he had truly slain the Dragon.

King: He came closer than most.

Drako smirks. "Yeah, he was riding high on that old saying of slaying the Dragon. But right before Wrestlemania, things took a turn. You see, he didn't get what he expected. The Dragon was not slain, but a message had to be sent. For the first time, we gave you a glimpse into family dynamics. My sister and I returned first, and that night was the first time I used the name, the Harbinger. That night, I was there to announce the return of the Dragon, that at Wrestlemania, Omen would get his chance to finally slay the Dragon. But I told him clearly that he didn't have what it took, and in truth, he didn't. At that Wrestlemania, Jarel lived up to his nickname, the Godfather of Hardcore. He beat Omen, he hooked him to that symbol and strung him up above the ring, and we didn't see him for years. Back then, I was the Harbinger of Destruction for my brother, but these past few years, that has been all for me. And at Survivor Series, I'm the Harbinger of the end of Omen's reign. And a third WWFG World Heavyweight championship reign for myself."

Drako pushes back from the ropes before he continues.

"Now, let's circle back to my point about what real champions do. See, I wrestled pretty much everyone, and I did it in different styles. I could do the ground game, the submission game. I took to the skies and sometimes, punching a guy in the face is all you need. I told people that I was the best wrestler in the world and went out to prove it every night. I was battle tested. Omen strikes me as a horrible test taker. Just like all those years ago when he came in and made a big moment for himself at my brother's experience, when he got to the big stage with the lights on bright, he failed. Not only did he fail, he went away for years. So let's get down to the truth, Omen."

Drako focuses his gaze on the camera this time.

"You are untested. When it comes to big stages, I excel. Wrestlemania main events, I've done those. Survivor Series against a big man, did that too. Rumbles, Money in the Bank, I've done all of that. I thrive on the spotlight. I excel at proving doubters wrong. I excel at wearing down and outwrestling anyone I'm against. That match you had with Avari, wasn't the real test. You had beat that man and battered him going into that match. But see, you may have jumped me once, but let's remember why you did it that way. Because when it came to going toe to toe back at Summerslam, you were the one that got knocked out of that ring. You were the one on the retreat. I may not be as big as you physically, but I'm the real test. I've been at this longer than you, I'm smarter than you, and I'm a better wrestler. So if you lumber your big a** into Survivor Series thinking that I'm like Bad Boy or Avari, you're going to be heavily disappointed. I'm going to recreate your Wrestlemania failure at Survivor Series. Because I know what you can do, I've seen you at your best. I saw what you did to Jarel years ago. I saw what happened to my old rival Bad Boy. Hell, I saved Avari from you. But as big and as bad as you think you are, Omen, you don't impress me. What's going to be impressive is me dropping you on your head and pinning you to take that title away."

Drako turns away from the camera and looks to the back.

"However, that's Survivor Series, and tonight is Cyber Sunday. Last week, I went around backstage looking for you and then Cartwright decided to make your life easy by booking us in a tag match turned handicap match. But tonight, we don't need a match, and you can leave the flunkies backstage. Why don't you come on down here and show me that you've actually learned from your past mistakes. Show me if you can actually finish the job, because all I've seen is your constant failure to keep anyone down. Well, anyone who knows what they're doing. So, champ, are you gonna come out for a little Survivor Series preview or stay back there and hide in the shadows of Cartwright's desk while you hope and pray I suddenly come down with acute pneumonia so you don't have to defend the gold at Surivor Series?"

Hello.
Welcome back.

'If Rain is What You Want'

Drako has stated how little he respects the World Champion and even had a source to back up why he thinks that he will walk away at Survivor Series.

But those words are easier to say when the near 400 pound man is walking your way. No smoke. No gimmicks. The Freak was just simply making his way down the ring, staring down the man who patronized his past and declaring his future.

Omen would make it to ringside, grabbing the top rope, pulling himself on to the apron before stepping over the top rope.

The music died out, leaving the crowd noise being the music for the two 'men' in the center of the ring.

The World Heavyweight Champion would stand before the challenger. The most dominant World Champion before him. The brother of Jarel. A harbinger.

JR: "You could cut the tension with a knife, ladies and gentlemen."

King: "I don't know how Drako can even talk about Omen that way, let alone stand in front of him aftereverything that has happened recently!"

JR: "He is a Damone, King. A royal family in wrestling. I would be shocked the day I see any of them tuck their tail and leave when things get intense!"

Stepping up, closer to the challenger, it seemed like Omen was testing how the Soaring Dragon would react. Checking to see if it all was bravado, or a way to trick himself into thinking he has a chance.

But it was not. Drako stood his ground, full heartedly believing his words. Not stepping back or faltering. Just standing tall, eyeing down one another.

The crowd would be eating up the heated face to face. Cheering for Drako. Saying how awesome this was. It seems that even Drako could influence the others that he has a chance.

Omen, however, was not the same person he was back then.

Just as Drako was about to lift the microphone to further dig into the World Champion, Omen would reach out his hand and grip the throat of Drako.

King: "Oh my!"

Drako indeed had no intent on backing down from Omen, no matter how big and bad he thinks he is or seems to be to others. Unexpectedly, Omen elects not only to be silent, but to grab the challenger by the throat. Not exactly unfamiliar territory for Drako, but it does make him drop the mic. A fight it is, and the Soaring Dragon quickly attempts to kick Omen right in the left kneecap

There was only one option, and both men knew it would come to this. Drako knew he was in for a fight the moment that Omen showed up, and he was getting one.

The kicks would connect to the knee, having Omenstagger for a bit, before reciprocating with an uppercut aimed at the chin of Drako. Strikes for a strike.

Drako got the hand off his throat. That was the main goal. It doesn't take long for the champ to come back swinging, clocking him right in the jaw, knocking him back against the ropes
PostPosted: Fri Oct 18, 2024 4:27 pm

The Freak nailed the uppercut, sending Drako back to the ropes. Following on the attack, Omen stepped backwards, hitting the ropes, looking to come back at Drako for a clothesline to send him over the top and to the outside!

Drako was stunned by that uppercut, but just aware enough of his surroundings to know he doesn't want to end up outside. As Omen dashes back, Drako springs forward and looks to clock him with a superkick to the jaw
PostPosted: Fri Oct 18, 2024 4:42 pm

Omen charged forward, but Drako would catch Omen in the middle of his sprint, nailing a superkick that would send Omen's face up. Dropping to a knee and stunned from the vicious kick.

Drako figured that kick wouldn't take the big man all the way down, which was fine. he was right where the Soaring Dragon wanted him. With Omen kneeling, Drako looks to catch him by the head and drive it to the mat with the Damone Drop
PostPosted: Fri Oct 18, 2024 4:46 pm

Drako would waste no time taking advantage of the positioning of Omen. Grabbing and snapping the skull of Omen into the mat for the Damone Drop.

Drako pops back up after dropping the champion right on his head and the crowd erupts in cheers. Drako goes back a few years as he hits a crotch chop standing over the fallen big man.

JR: My Gawd, the challenger just dropped the champion right on his head! Could this be a preview of Survivor Series?

King: I hope not. Come on champ! We can't do another year of this guy as our world champion!

Drako's music hits as he backs across the ring and steps out through the ropes. He backs up the ramp, looking back at what he'd done. His message had been sent
PostPosted: Fri Oct 18, 2024 5:18 pm

Drako would get his chops and taunts in, but as soon as he backed out, the crowd saw what Drako didnt see right away.

JR: "Oh my god, look inside the ring!"

King: "There it is!"

As soon as Drako left the squared circle, Omen would push himself back up to his feet with ease. Standing where he had previously been face first into the mat.

And when Drako turned around, he would see the Freak standing as well. Staring down back at him.

Drako brushes his hair back from his face as he locks eyes with Omen. That wasn't exactly normal considering that move had won Drako several championships over the years.

JR: That has to do something to the mind when your best shot doesn't keep the champion down!

King: Yeah, let's you know that you can't beat him.

Drako holds up three fingers, each on in order. Omen had in fact been down longer than three seconds, and his meaning is clear: He only needs him down for three seconds
