Forever and Never
With memories unfiltered by tragedy,
they are washed away through sins by man.
Alone, swallowed by darkness and
never-ending pain,
only you can save me.
Chain me,
thrust me onto the world's stage for all to see.
Save me and,
allow these pure memories
to shape a near-distant future.
Take me to that garden,
which is light paradiso.
Break me and
make me feel whole once more.
Tempus edax rerum,
breathe life back into me
again.

Description:
This is a poem written in the POV of one of my Roleplay characters with a friend of mine. He was a former slave, one of the last survivors of his clan, and has to team up with an incredibly powerful vampire named Dante. This poem is about their relationship later on. :)

- Somehow I really like these types of poems. It has a hopeful feeling like seeing a light in the dark.
