These things I know:
Music is food for the soul
Art is emotion drawn out
Philosophy is the words of the wise
But all these things are nothing without:
Someone to hold you on a cold lonely night
Someone who is completely honest
A person who may not be smart, but is wise
Someone who knows when to hold you close
And when you need your space
A loving hand
A gentle smile
A kind heart
If anyone can claim to be all these things
Let them come and teach me
For I am lost without them
