A bard of musical talent was she,
Who came with us as you shall see.
Her clothing was simple, but her cheer was bright.
The tales she told entertained us each night.
She performed for kings daily, and more.
Paid handsomely, she was not poor.
With her flute, did she so play,
Make our long travel seem short way.
She sang in verse, often a time;
Her stories were sublime.
Only eighteen years of age, she was;
Yet skilled with her flute and what she does.
She recorded the noble deeds of knights long past,
And again with our tales to make them last.
