Silver moon hangs over glassy waters.
Reflecting bright, illuminating the dark garden of my heart.
I walk slowly through the luminescence,
Searching, searching, for the piece I'm missing.
I find a small trinket, that reminds me of you,
I hide it away, safe from their eyes.
You and I used to sit upon this riverbank,
And ponder our fantasies.
I sit here alone now, broken and lost.
And, yet, I wait, still waiting for you.
I look up at the moon that hangs overhead, and I pray,
Pray you'll come home once again.
