Enter the needle,
sucking life.
His heart slows,
and stops.
His eyes remain open,
and slowly roll back.
He twitches once,
maybe twice.
Then the end.
The sadness,
the darkness, of death.
So dreaded,
yet expected.
He slips,
slips, into the silents,
of a never ending sleep,
never to awaken again.
Lest the pain end with the breath,
of the loved, and never forgotten victim.
The end.
End of life,
end of the story

- Death is hard thing to deal with, and felt equally as stricken when my grandfather died. Though obviously there are differences between the two situations, I think it's a good thing to realize that even if his life ends, you can live on and keep true to yourself so that his story won't end with him, but with you. Hope you feel better.
