-
He sits down on what used to be their bed.
Crying and holding his head.
Thinking about the life they had together.
Saying that any storm they could weather.
Wishing he had one more shot
To give it everything he’s got.
To become who he had forgot.
One more shot,
One more drink.
One more time
He couldn’t think.
Sorrow pours
A little more
Whiskey for his drink.
In the shadow of a revolver.
This bullet seems
The only problem solver.
Losing the gamble on
This game called life.
Well it all ends tonight.
She cries holding the flag they gave her.
Honor has a bitter sweet flavor.
She dreams of him walking in the front door.
Telling her he loves her once more.
Holding her so close.
Saying what he misses most.
But now he’s just a ghost.
One more shot.
One more drink.
One more time
She couldn’t think
Sorrow pours
A little more.
Whiskey for her drink.
In the shadow of a revolver.
This bullet seems
The only problem solver.
Losing the gamble
On this game called life.
Well it all ends tonight.
Deep inside this world of love.
Is a side of pain you’ve never heard of.
Knowing what love really is.
But with out it how can you live?
To beg the one you love to stay.
Have them be wrenched away.
To want to be the one that pays.
One more shot.
One more drink.
One more time
They couldn’t think.
Sorrow pours
A little more
Whiskey for their drink.
In the shadow of a revolver.
This bullet seems
The only problem solver.
Losing the gamble on
This game called life.
Well it all ends tonight.
