We all go through times when we just aren't sure
Of who we are, why we're here, or what to fight for.
Some people carry on, unphazed by renovation.
Others get lost and confused in futile frustration.
There's no way to describe it, it's much too unique.
That type of confusion inside, when you lose what you seek.
That doubt that occurs when you can't seem to decipher
Which gender it is that you wish to chase after.
Most of us cross that path once in our lives.
Some are lucky enough to continue undaunted.
Others realize what it is they may have missed.
That attraction that they could previously resist.
There's really no way of helping, though I wish I could,
But trust me, if I could help you, I definitely would.
All I can do is stand on the sidelines and observe,
And hope you take the road you deserve.
The one that's true, that's been paved just for you.
That leads you on to what you're destined to do.
Whether that choice leave you with women, or men,
Know that your true friends will be here through thick or thin.
I'll be waiting, anxiously observing, to see what you choose.
Trust me, dear, I've walked miles in your shoes.
I know what it's like, and how it will be,
And through it all, you can seek refuge in me.
I'll do what I can to help you through it all,
I won't ever falter to answer your call.
I'll do all I can to earn your affection,
Waiting in hopes of a deeper connection.

- Title: Orientation Rennovation
- Artist: Niente Neiuun
- Description: This is a piece of work that I wrote in order to help convince a dear friend of mine that it was okay for him to come out of the closet, and that it wouldn't change my view of him (in fact, quite the opposite, as you will read).
