My alarm goes off, the snooze don't work,
So I roll out of bed onto the floor.
I pull open the curtains, and in the dim light
I feel my jaw drop open in shock
During the night, while I'm fast asleep,
I got a visit from Mister Jack Frost.
He had covered everything, with his icy breath,
With mounds upon mounds of snow.
I throw on my robe and pull on my boots
And leap into the new fallen glory.
I am even more excited, as I listen to my radio
That school has been cancelled today!
I pull on my snow pants, throw on a hat
And pull on my gloves so warm,
I leap into piles, jump into hills,
And soak in the wonder of winter

- not bd for a 1st submission. I'd just like to know, were you trying to make this poem rhyme? If so, then good job. If not, still, good job. 4/5.
