• Description: A guy I was going out with dumped me for his ex-girlfriend & told me we could still be friends. We were great friends for a little while, but he kept on telling me he cared sooo much about me & I believed him. When he broke up w/ his girlfriend he had a choice between me & some other b***h who ******* hated me & not so much to my surprise he choose her. After that I just told him I was tired of being his second choice. This poem is about the situation.

Because she got to you before me
And When you kiss I wish I didn't see

With that sight my heart began to ache
Its a nightmare not ended by a simple shake
I couldn't count the tears I cried
The night your love for me died

That night I couldn't look at myself in the mirror
But no apologies from you could I hear
And being your best friend you asked me for advice
But I had none to offer because of your told lies

When she moves somewhere far away
You turn to me & flirt everyday
But do you realize that your leading me on
And somehow I forget it won't last long
