The wolf wolfs me down
And I wake up screaming
The spider crawls up the back
For a sneak attack
And I can’t help feeling
Someone stop me dreaming
The nightmares on T.V
Spend nights chasing me
Take bites
From bedbugs and bogeymen
Fright nights
They corner me and then
Will I wake tomorrow
Shivering and cold tomorrow
A scared little child tomorrow
And he can't stop feeling
Somebody stop me dreaming

"The wolf wolfs me down"
That is a bad start to a poem. Using two words in a row is not attractive in poetry in examples like this and trying to rhyme a word with the same word. I can assume you are a beginner writer so I won't rate too low on this. You seemed to try too hard to rhyme everything. It seems like a lazy half-effort or a sporadic idea rather than a full, pieced together one. This is an okay poem, the meaning is good enough but the way it was done is not great. - Report As Spam
