‘So,’ He says and I stare at my feet,
I feel no hope; but love for his honesty.
Years have passed; the stars align with no simple sight.
Loving him hurts, it’s so cliché, watching out the simple window, each day.
‘I love you,” he says and I cannot reply to the way he awaits for me too.
He’s Lying, I know about her, and he’s killing me.
Plucking at my last fragments of my heart.
The simple feeling of lust and love combine as they feed off my soul.
He’s looking, he’s watching my every move I make - In love, I think.
He knows, it shows - the hurt.
“Give me another chance to be your man,” He’d say on another day.
No - Not another chance; sorry. I’d say with remorse in my voice.
I lay in my debt to God - shattered as I am
I really need him in my life.
I need him as the mistake I’ll never make again - again I thought,
I don’t need this, I don’t. I don’t want this.
I am a slave; slave to the love of my other half.
I’ll do anything for him - just, I can’t forgive him.
