• What is passion?
    An unyielding flame
    an act which brings abundant joy
    something you could never hope to stop
    something you believe undoubtedly
    passion is all of this
    it's a word used almost daily
    but not many know what it truly means
    to be consumed by the unyielding flames it sparks
    to feel so uninhibited by joy
    to feel out of control to stop
    to never doubt for a second its true
    yet everyone has a passion
    reading, writing, drawing.
    The list goes on
    painting, teaching, learning.
    How can we have passion
    yet know not what it means
    simple to feel and understand is beyond capability
    we may understand or feel
    but never both
    so we are burned by the unyielding flame
    turned to ash an nothing more
    we always run out of joy
    feeling sad and alone
    we always will stop
    and move on
    we will always have doubt
    no matter how much we believe
    This is what passion is

    unattainable, but always there.
